Which set would be the easiest to get a rare candy from?

Probably Great Encounters as they are "uncommon" rarity in that set. But you might be better off trying to trade for them

i bought 2 boxes, an only got 4 rare candys, i just ended up buying a bunch off ebay for 4 bucks each, should have done that from the get go

Well, I'd say GE. The odds between all normal set are the same, but I'm sure you'd want legal cards.

back when I was opening boxes, HP gave me more RC than EM or SS. But I'd still stick to GE for the fact that HP is going to be gone in September

I recommend GE as you will possibly pull Claydols and those are in high demand. Plus it gives you trade fodder for after rotation Sept 1!
