The deck is too slow with that kind of line. Try to build the deck something similar to the one the "Torterra Deck Critique"...

You want to play Torterra? Cool.

BUT, you might want to add a Leafeon LV.X due to Tort's high attack costs.

Also, you could Tech in a 1-0-1 Sceptile GE line. It has a Poke-Body that doubles every :grass: Energy.

3-2-2/1-1 torterra MD/DP-torterra x (that means play both)
2-1-2 sceptile
1-1 claydol
2 pachi
1 azelf LA in case terra X is prized
pokemon 19
14 grass
3 call
energy 17
3 rosy
4 dawn
4 bebe
4 candy
2 night maintenance
3 premier ball
2 cynthias
2 pokeradar LA
trainers 22
have fun

Why this need to be able to attack with Torterra using energy drops from a single turn? I think you could make the deck much more stable by playing Torterra with either Sceptile -OR- Lefeon (Sceptile would be my preference). That would give you space for some cards that can help you get setup.

As it is you will probably lose not just to fire decks (hard to avoid) but also to a lot of other decks because you take too long to setup. You will have plenty of time to get two energies on Torterra in the time it takes to build it.

k updated.......took advice on taking lefeon out.....realized how long it would take to set up. 2-1-2 sceptile does that meen 2 basic 1 2nd stage and 2 2nd stage? any advice on trainers?
