Side Event #65 8 Many Tourny Single Elim
It takes over an hour for a table to open up so we can play which only adds to the excitment as we discuss the metagame.
Round 1: Some kid with only a phione. He didn win
1-0 yesss im in the prizes!!!!
The Ace goes out round 1 roam tails ftl better luck next year.
Round 2: Billy K w/ Counterchompharderplz.deck (blissey)
1 for 70 hurts, cess hurts even more. I get the early lead but billy comes storming back with 3 late game cess in a row. It comes down to 1-1 him having active fresh blissey with cess and me having togepi, gible, claydol, pachi. and 2 candys kiss and chomp in my hand. I send up togepi and yawn. He rolls tails at before his turn but heads after so i have to yawn again. This time 2 tails. I sent up pachi and do 40+ discard cess. He rolls tails again. My turn candy chomp candy kiss and hit for 110. Im such a donk.

Its all up to me to win it now with both aces gone.
Round 3: Serioius Kid w/ plox.
If i get phione and rossanes in my openning hand and they dont get the t2 cess or psychic lock im going to win pretty much every time. More like every time. At least 95% of the time. This game is no different he throws every tech in the book at me dusknoir, jirachi, absol, jolteon, muk. He litterally used every candy in his deck by turn 4 he had dusk, 2x gallade, 2x gard but it didnt matter. Plox cant handle getting Ohk'd and beach locked. Time is called during his turn with me up by 2 prizes. IM THE CHAMP
I get 5 packs of Italian GE for my 3-0 first place effort.
Props to Billy for giving me the red bandana and an "Ace" shirt.
