Marley's Wish's potential

why do most people hate marley's wish: it can fetch you a supporter, a stadium or a trainer card
let's go by examples:
e.g. 1: my opponent chooses a trainer Card - i use it
e. g. 2: my opponent chooses a stadium card - i place it
e. g. 3: my opponent chooses a supporter cards, i pick it up and use in the next turn and sometimes that sucks xD

Because you NEVER get the best card you need.

For example, you play Marley's Wish and you choose a Luxury Ball and a Bebe's.

The logic choice from your opponent would be Bebe's since it wastes your Supporter for a turn...

As said above, that is indeed Marley's main problem. That, and its a supporter. Had it been a trainer saying "You cannot use the card returned this way this turn", it'd be a lot better and still balanced.

It's pretty good if you use very few supporters other than Marley's. By the time we get IFDS, there will be plenty of non-supporters we can use as substitutes.

Bebe's -> Luxury Ball (sort of), Quick Ball/Poke Radar
Roseanne's -> Great Ball

Not to mention PokeDrawer and PokeBlower. Play Marley's when you have 1 in discard 1 in hand. It lets you get more than 2 uses out of them per game.

i can see it as a one of tech but early game i can be really sick. Like luxary ball + Marleys t1. Or 2 Drawers+ marleys letting you search for 3 cards. But its just to situational to be very usefull IMO.

I see very big potential for this under-rated card as a 2/3 of in a deck. It gives you potential to set up for a good next turn. I won't give you exact ideas but it's a decent card

Farfetched ifds would be good with this card. As said, luxary ball is great with this, and farfetched can get both cards easily.

sometimes your opponent might do the wrong pick - they cannot guess your hand unlesse they can see it xD

Farfetched ifds would be good with this card. As said, luxary ball is great with this, and farfetched can get both cards easily.
