I like it, but all your opponenet has to do is ....WAGER!!! But, its second attack ISNT that good, just WARP POINT!!!

6/10!!!

ooh, Jirachi

10/10

Playability is very nice, if teamed with Ariados you could wreak havoc with him

Well, I don't think that this is too amazingly great, at least in modified format. I pulled this at one of the Worlds PRs, however, and it was AMAZING. All of my starts with it came out as perfect, flawless matches. It worked wonders.

Limited: 10/10

Modified: 6/10

One Desire is good if you can manage to start with it.

Doom Desire is an effect that targets the Defending Pokemon; therefore if Jirachi is KO'ed by THAT Defending Pokemon, it will still be Knocked Out - provided if your opponent doesn't retreat or uses Warp Point. The attack is rather situational, I must say.

Its HP is rather low for a Pokemon that cannot evolve.

Not a bad card, but not too good either. I won't choose to waste precious space in my deck to play Jirachi with Amulet Coin. ^^;;

6.5/10

I like the card, leave out searching for your roseanne, claydol or rare candy that you desperatley need early on, only has one retreat cost but as it's a free attack you can just let it die. Also late game you can sacrifice this in order to get that crucial card you need to win the game.

Amulet coin is a waste, as you more than likely wont draw into both on your starting hand, and if you stick more than one in it'll be a waste of 3-4 spaces as claydol is all you need for draw.

Adds to the already great pool of starters, pachi/phione/chatot and now jirachi.

Nice card and is sure to be a staple in the next format. One Desire: awesome, watch for wager. Doom Desire: hee hee hee. Evil attack. Low HP isn't bad because he is a starter, like Pachirisu/Chatot/Phione.

Only thing that could have made it better is free retreat.

9/10

Cool illustration as well.

Can you think of a Jirachi that hasn't been good? (apart from the Promo)

Doom Desire is Amazing, especially when paired with something that inflicts sleep or paralyze is a special condition

... Gliscor Lv.X anyone

Right now its a 7/10 with some other combos in IFSD its even better.

YES, doom desire will still work if Jirachi is knocked out, as the effect is on the defending pokemon. it will not, however, continue working if the defending pokemon goes to the bench (and maybe evolves, not sure on that one).

i used this at the prerelease to great outcome, but i do not see it fare so well in modified play. its first attack is great: get a card you want for your next turn, for free. and if your opponent's big pokemon is not going anywhere next turn, discarding two metal energy is great for a knockout.

7/10

eh ...

I like Doom Desire, I wonder if it'll still work if Jirachi is also KO'd.

I'd give it a 7/10

The ruling at PreRelease tourney was ..

Doom Desire is treated at a Special Condition.
So, you can clear it out by simply going to the bench (warp point, switch, retreat etc.)
or evolving.

This means, it's pretty much a WASTED attack UNLESS the opponent has NO BENCH then it's a guaranteed knockout.

The strategy here, I suppose, would be to FORCE a big dog out of the active spot ("move it or lose it")

I guess it's a little shot-in-the-dark if you only wanted to use the first attack and have your bench all ready to go (aka "well, since I'm here anyway. .. ' Doom Desire for disruption ... " .. LOL )

The card is marginal at best. I've used it and not liked it.

5/10
