OK, back shortly to address issues. Am in the process of lesson planning, so this'll be quick-ish. Again.
Ikrit: Awesome job catching the edit. it doesn't seem to useful now, but keeping the pattern of a page up at all times to double check edits could be a quick way to catch a Wolf. Good Work!
LifeVirus: Agree with you on pretty much everything. Noting the writing on the vote-off is nice. I missed that and wouldn't have looked over it again. compile a list of who voted off PokePockets. that could really help us in hunting down at least one of the remaining Wolves. Vig was def. a lucky shot, but a good one. I have more for the Vig here later in the post. Policeman is definitely a detective IMO, Seer was prob smart enough to investigate someone else (I hope). The Barrier is def. a trad. Priest, protecting while blocking incoming roles.
I disagree on the three killing parties. If you look closely at the Night post from Absoltrainer, you will see that it was a Wolf who was targeting and repelled by the barrier. I believe the Bite was something akin to try to convert someone to the Wolf side, like the Wolves from other series have had the chance to convert one specific person to their team if they target them properly.
z-man: DFB was not the Vig. It's already been addressed in other posts.
FriedB and SZ: I'll talk more on your analysis later. But I do to an extent agree and disagree.
homeofmew: See Sandslash's highly accurate analysis of last night. I'll talk more about last night from my perspective in a bit. Suffice to say, I'm not a Wolf as I was targeted by one.
backwards: Highly disagree with you about Day 1. the voting part, I agree with. essentially you all end up voting for a person who makes an uber faux-pax early (see PokePockets, Lakak) or who is selected somewhat randomly.
The sole excuse for having ANY debate on Day 1 is to start establishing connections, non-connections, and unique lack of connections early. Brawler and Jason have both been strongly working with each other and it makes me mildly suspicious of their connection either through Masonic or Wolf ties. it is these early connections that can have a lasting impact through the game and thus make Day 1 the most important day of the game. But this is getting into semantic debates that belong on other boards or topics (anyone wanna debate game philosophy? Create another topic. I'll only bring it up as needed. Which for me is a lot.)
Sandslash: Holy accurate analysis of last night.
OK, I'll come out and say it. I was the person targeted by 5 night roles. 6 if you include my own. Yes, this is pretty much unheard of, but is good to know as it gives us info.
Those who are going to try and target me again tonight: Don't. You already know I'm townie as I was targeted by the Wolves while in the protective barrier. Sadly, it wasn't a kill and instead their fangs were targeted at DFB. Sucks to lose him this early, esp. b/c of his role. Also, as I'm going to be asking for protection again tonight, do not target me again. The priest will be protecting me again.
Though your initial statement of my non-Wolfiness is rather weak ("He's been a Wolf once..."), it is accurate as further explained in your post.
Priest/Protector/whatever-your-name-is: ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou!!!!!!!
And please protect me again tonight. If you don't, I'll be dead. Again. Which would suck as I think my last stand is gonna be on Day 3. More info then.
shinygyarados: I was initially going to defend you, yet your initial defense is a tad weak. Though you may have been Townie before and defended Wolves, that doesn't excuse your action in this game. Next time you post, please post any info you might have in directing us towards two-three possible Wolves. it doesn't matter how strong the evidence is. Try and bring a new perspective to old evidence if you choose to use previously used evidence as well.
Absoltrainer: *puts on Chris Crocker bleeding mascara* LEAVE LAKAK ALONE!!!! HE'S JUST NOT WELL RIGHT NOW!!!! *cries**/Chris Crocker impression*
That said...
...gah, didn't want to do this this early...
...but oh well.
Yes, I evolved last night.
I am debating whether or not I should tell what I evolved into, because that is still not clear. I don't knwo if the secrecy would ebenfit the Town or hurt it as they may nto trust me. So I leave that p to your decision.
Town: Should I reveal my newly evolved role and/or pre-evolution? It could either put a bigger target on my head or a smaller one. Here's the pros and cons...
+No personal secrecy.
+Could receive more help from Town.
+Would cement Town's trust in me.
--Wolves would know my role, making me a target.
--May be detrimental to the Town's evolution.
--Could lead to dissension and fractioning in the Town.
So, advice, anyone?
Will talk more later. Need to get back to planning. Been writing this post for almost 40 minutes...
