Tropical Mega Battle 3!

Sounds like this is gonna turn out to be a fun event and I love playing at DTG. I'll be there...even though I don't have a chance at doing even close to good :tongue:
 
wait just wondering if there is no age divisions that means it will be like a 40-50 person tournament. so is there gonna be a top cut, how long is it gonna be.
 
Updates :]

The main event will be unsanctioned and have no divisions, but for anyone (seniors/juniors) who come and don't want to play against the mixed crowd/including masters, we'll have side events for that which may or may not be sanctioned (to be determined).
The main event will definitely have at least a top 4 cut at this point, and the top cuts for the side events obviously will depend on the number of those participating/whether or not it's sanctioned.

We'll get some photos up soon of what the trophies for these events will look like real soon! There's also talk of a 2008 Worlds DS as a prize, but no confirmations so far.

If there is a Worlds DS as a prize, I will show up, if not, the chances are a lot less likely, so that will be a good motivation for me to go. :thumb:

I can't wait to this event, I'm really glad that I have states to playtest for this.

I really wish this was on the 11th, Spring Break here in NY.
Can't afford to miss two of my classes either, one is ENOUGH for my mom (regionals)

And PokePop, right now it will be you and Lori Dueser, who is also trying to get in touch with Lissanne (Sorry if I botched that spelling!)

And I noticed something today for anyone who will be mapquestion/googlemapping/etc. directions:
When you put in 3130 Route 10, it gives you directs about a minute down the road. By putting in "Morris" instead of "Denville", it'll send you to the right place :)
Sorry for any confusion!

This is the easiest way:
8. Turn right at NJ-10 E [6.3 mi]
9. Slight right toward Franklin Rd [0.2 mi]
10. Turn left at Franklin Rd

So it's like taking a half a U-turn, then crossing Route 10 via Franklin Rd and taking a right at the "Marty's Shoes" sign, entering the strip-mall Dark Tower is located in.
If you miss the turn off at Franklin Rd., there is a U-turn a little further down Route 10, so you'd make a right into the complex as well.
