It can without SNowpoint in play. But it goes the otherway around too, 1 Gigablaster or Heads on Gigaton Punch and Flygon X = no more.

Yes, Flygon can be one hit by Regigigas but your goal here is avoid playing RR Flygon or lv X and just use SW Flygon or Hippowdon to 1 hit gigas. If there is no snowpoint by all means use Lv X. Regigigas is a terrible matchup for Flygon and is one of the easiest wins for me.

lol Alex lets not add to anything or you may end up in the mess with Empoleo and Dark.
DarkArtisan is knowledgable you just have to dig around his commentating.

Lets stay on topic of Flygon and Regigigas for now though.

Regigigas can beat flygon depending on both deck's setup.
Also if gigas gets off a t1 mesprit it is more likely that flygon will slow down.

Blissey- That is absolutely correct. A T1 Mesprit does stop my Trapinch but I should be around for T2 in which I can use power, attach and then BTS/Rare Candy to SW Flygon or just use Hippowdon from the getgo in order to KO Regigigas T2. Now if they T1 Gigaton punch well goodnight Trapinch but it really depends on setup. In the end though the testing shows a great favor to Flygon (and yes I am talking about stats not theory.)

After a couple hours of goofing around and doing some random solitaire matchups I think I have found another solid Flygon deck...with another stage 1 RR poke ;)

This deck has entered testing against upcoming meta decks such as Gallade 4 and Luxray GL. I am in need of people that are experienced with these upcoming decks such arcanine, gallade 4, luxray gl, infernape 4, etc. to reply with deck basics so I can begin testing solid decks and not my mediocre builds that have minimal research behind them.

Bippa- Please PM me your lists and strats so we can discuss testing

Senior- I am not too sure what you mean by solo. I do not have room for memory berry to make it efficient enough and I am not too concerned with seeing Kingdra in the RR meta. Also, I had play tested with what you suggested (except gardy because that just is not for me), and I have more wins with my current version. Thanks though

Solo means it goes alone. Hippodon is good but not in this deck. Flygon is VERY good and can attack alone, like machamp. The Gardi is ok, there is probalby many ways of playing Flygon, i just like to use 2 Supporters + its a evolved pokemon. Do you still play with Hippodon?

Well Flygon itself is mediocre attacking alone, but good when played with a bench. Hippowdon makes use of the fat HP to tank the bench and can be BTS immediately. Also, he is useful after being setup by Stark or by using his first attack and taking energy from the discard and attaching. I play almost always with FlyDon as his record soars past my other variants that range from eeveelutions to random techs and the new arcanine.

The 74-22 Record of FlyDon has been surpassed. I will be posting a new and even more in depth writeup of my new Flygon variant as soon as the RR PR are completed. This is still a top contender as much as people criticize, I can handle it all.

Trust me, I know that this can be hard to understand. Developing it back in march, I found myself wondering what am I doing? Once you are able to play it and take advantage of multiple upsides like Hippowdons fighting type with free retreat, his tank hp and s1 (so Flygon RR can hit hard without Hippo being sniped quickly). Also Hippowdon does very well as an attacker. You can stark and Trapinch to accelerate both Hippowdon and Flygon if need be. It is very hard to put this deck into words which maybe is why people criticize and can not understand. I must say this deck is being succeeded by a much better variant. It will also be much more clear in the strategy so that players who speculate can easily comment without needing to actually play test to understand (like FlyDon).

^just so you know, trpinch can only be used if active, don't know if that changes anything in your hippo charging strategy,
