YAY! its my favorite card of all time!!

Gengar is a broken card! Sniping your opponent's un-unown G'd pokemon with the help of crobat of coarse for a OHKO is broken! And having the ability of KO an opponents pokemon for knocking out Gengar (with the flip of the heads) is BROKEN! I love You Gengar!

10/10

My favorite deck and probably what will easily be in top 4 of worlds. I see this and speedchamp being up there. hope people tech against it lol.

Ah. The card everyone is talking about Speedgar, Mother Gengar, Gechamp. Gengar SF is the talk of the Pokmon community. If you can't beat him why not join him right? Gengar is the reason little children fear Ghosts. A great card. 10/10.

The best thing about Gengar is that it changes the way your opponent plays his game, from how he draws cards to what he holds in his hand. Its a real pain to play against. Nidoqueen RR has made it even better. 9/10

i agree with bear. gengar isnt hard to beat alone but because he does what he does it totally disrupts your opp. and makes them play their deck in a way that may not be how it was meant to run. not much completly counters him. you can only stop parts of him, i.e. g stops his shadow room on important things. PL amphy stops faint spell. and just playing smart alone can help you get around poltergiest.

this card is the epitome of disruption

10/10 for gengar

WHAT!?!?! NO ROTATION????!?!?!?! ok. Gengar is just uber great but I am so sad that I don't have any. :frown: noooooooo. 10/10

Almost everybody down looked this at CC, and look at it now. It's tier 1. I always thought Gengar was a pretty good card but now, it's WOW. Good card overall.

I can see this making to the World finals.

9/10.

Ahh, Gengar, easily my favourite card of this season, but let's be frank - he's his own worst enemy. Who else can eliminate Claydol so effectively that your opponent can't draw any trainers/supporters into their hand to make Poltergeist effective? 3 damage counters per turn for the rest of the game? Puh-lease.

But paired with another fighter, Gengar's easily the best partner in the format right now.

9.5 possibly a ten. Because seriously, what cards are better than this? The only reason it's not a ten is due to it's heaviest attack being a variable. If it had a level X it would be a ten, no questions.

if it had a x i probably wont play or even think about it not unless it said it did more damge to a poke with a power lol

9.5/10 the for the no perfect score this deck has had problems as ,dialga and bad hands lol but still a great card

Gengar was hyped when SF spoilers came out, then it didn't really appear at Cities except in clunky fail builds with Dusknoir.

Then it got rediscovered and paired with Crobat G and Cresselia, and became a top tier deck for States.

Then people got wise about playing around Fainting Spell, and putting Unown G back in their decks.

Then it found new friends in Machamp and Nidoqueen (not in the same deck, please), and started causing problems again.

Gengar has had a really up-and-down history in this format, but the fact is that its nasty Power and cheap snipe attack can spell trouble for ANY deck. It isn't BDIF or anything, but it is ALWAYS a threat.

A little cheese here, a little too good. A decent sniper and can take down decks without claydol (because they use supporters to replace him).

No body plays many dark pokemon so his weakness and resistance dont matter that much. 110 is a little low for a stage 2. The major weakness of this card is that it can be beaten with speed. I took a scizor/cherrim to a gengchamp deck and I beat haunter like 3 times. It takes a while to get him set up, and he isnt the greatest attack by himself.

A card released a set before it should have been, this was shown to be great with all the Platinum support.

Throw into that multiple states wins, and good showings at Nationals so far ( 2x 1st at Denmark Nationals and 2x 2nd at UK Nationals ) and it's a card and deck not to be meddled with.

9.5/10
