This deck is mostly just something I can put together, because I don't have a lot of money to spend on any expensive cards. If I'm going, I will be playing this at Nats. Here goes:

Pokemon:
4-4 Arcanine RR
2-2 Claydol GE
3-3 Cherrim
2 Unown G
1 Rayquaza LA

T/S/S:
2 SSU
4 Pokedrawer +
4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne's Research
3 Stark Mountain
1 NM
3 Warp Point
3 PlusPower
1 Galactic HQ
1 Luxury Ball
2 TM TS-2 Devolutor (For playing around Fainting Spell)

Energy:
6 :fire:
2 Upper
3 Call

Strategy:
Get an Arcanine out fast (usually T2) with three energy (because of Growlithe's Stoke attack) and use Flames of Rage. Meanwhile set up Claydol for draw. Get out two Cherrim on your bench to hit for more. Rayquaza for energy accel. Your finished bench should usually look like:

Cherrim Cherrrim Rayquaza Claydol Arcanine
(NOTE: Change the bench for certain matchups.)

Any help is welcome.

-1-1 Heatran X
-2 Level Max
-2 Rare Candy

+4-4 Cherrim SF
+1 BTS

I personally like bench sitters who increase damage (not that the burn strategy isn't effective) but I have played this a couple of times with Cherrim, I promise you won't be disappointed

Thanks for the tips. That sounds really good. Can't believe I didn't think about that. Keep the good tips coming!

Edit:
Now officially using Cherrim, and will change the list shortly.

Yeah. Uppers aren't bad in Arcanine, however I don't like Jirachi RR.

Jirachi RR is more of a starter type card that gets the deck started. Your ideal start is a Growlithe RR so you can attach, Stoke, then Bebe's, evolve, T2 Flames of Rage

Trying to fit Upper is about the only other thing this list might need

i hope you do good!! or win it all question is this a speedy arcanine because i dont see u running heatran so you wont loose energy for arcanine or just more dmg ftw

So for Uppers how about
-2 Fire

+2 Upper?

Or should I take out something else? Should I put in more Uppers?

Arcanine? Hmmm.. That's a intresting idea!

Have you ever playtested against Dialga G or other SP matchups? Can you T2 Flames of Rage often?

Maybe i'll use Arcanine for my nationals too!

No, I haven't tested against any Dialga G and only against Infernape 4 and Abomasnow. Arcanine does really well vs. Abomasnow, but is pretty bad against Infernape 4.

More often than not, I get a T2 Flames of Rage. Usually I have 0-1 Cherrims on T2. By T5 I usually have all the Cherrims. However, if I was playing against something like Gengar that spreads, it would probably take longer, because they'd keep on killing my support.

If anyone would like to playtest this with me on Redshark, PM me because I really want to see if this will work out.

-1-1 cherrim

+1 unown g
+1 uxie la

hope this helps-Mamoswine42

I'm not an expert on draw power, but isn't Uxie and Claydol together a little overkill? I need some space on my bench, too. SSU does not always save the day, and I can't poketurn Uxie. Should I just switch to 3-1 Uxie? I agree with the Unown G though. If I didn't put in Uxie, should I just take out 1 Cherubi? If anyone is asking, I would play 3 Cherubi and 4 Cherrim because you can't Roseanne's for a Cherrim.

Thanks for the tips.

I need someone to playtest this with me on Redshark, ASAP. I have a Hamachi account

i can pm you my gengar list that i'm going to play for br's and would play for nats if i could go :( but i don't have redshark yet but i can see if my computer can download it?

hope this helps-Mamoswine42

Sure that would help a lot! Any computer can download Redshark, they just came out with a mac version. You can also download Hamachi for Windows, and HamachiX for mac. I can help you set it up.

I'm realize now I need some secondary draw trainers. What should I take out and what should I use?
