I really don't like the body when I'm playing against it. I hate it when they get a NM or something with it. >.<

The attack is super annoying when I'm playing Palkia. I could see it messing up a lot of other cards too, like Shaymin, Alakazam 4 and AMU.

This card definitely changes how the game is going once it's played, by either sniping Level Xes or making your opponent discard potentially key cards. Not to mention doing it all for 3 colorless energies and having no retreat cost. 9/10
 
Run AMU Run!

It's an interesting card when used correctly. It's kind of cool with the trapinch combo though. You play it,
bring it out, use it's power to get a fighting energy, slap one on there, rare candy to flygon, and you got a high
HP pokemon doing 40, hopefully KOing your opponents stadium, and protecting itself for a turn, and the next
turn you got at least 60, probobly more, and possilby this card with 150 to snipe any level x. (Which KO's
all of the POPULARLY played level X's in the game....except maybe regi+snowpoint.)

It'll be interesting to see if a flygon combo can crack top cut at nats. I am doubtful, but i've seen good combos with
it, it's got potential.

Nah, decks like AMU and Gigas tend to love this guy, he's too easy to play around.

Anyway, the body is why I love this card, with Flygon almost constantly KOing (Or 2HKO) it makes it harder for the opponent to recover, the attack is a nice, but not needed bonus.

Over rated and not a great deck. Personally I agree it is way to easy to get around, especially wiht gigas when flygon is 2x colorless and gigas can have up to 170 HP its another kinda yea you think your bad till that happens deck. AMU is way too fast for this deck to keep up and deal constant damage. Mewtwo tech is ok buta gain too easily countered when most SP or basic decks will rn it for this occasion. Honestly the card isnt that great useful poke body when active again Dialga G X. and his lower lvls are dependent on benched poke eveolutions. In my humble opinion I say it wont top cut unless osme crazy build hits and does well. I forsee SPEEDGAR SPEEDCHAMP A RANDOM SP AND POSSIBLY AMU or GIGAS.

I give this a 6/10 only because it honestly isnt that good.
 
I can see where you would say that it is overrated. It is not a great attacker unless the perfect situation arises.

Its good that it can snipe lv.x's so dialga g cant hide on the bench and take away pokebodies, but not many people play lv.x's on the bench, because the speed of the game is so fast. You need to combo it with a good attacker, and it will run into trouble if the other deck does not play many lv.x's. It also has trouble if the opposing deck has teched a ditto.

But retreat cost is awesome, weakness is not a problem unless mr. ditto comes to play. So I'll give it a 8.5/10
 
Hmmm . . . what is the truth about Flygon LV X and the deck it goes in?

Is it 'OMG THIS IS THE BEST DECK IN FORMAT AND MURDERS SP DECKS AND WILL SWEEP WORLDS!!1shiftone!'?

Or is it 'Flygon isn't that great IMO. Not even tier 2. It autoloses to Kingdra and Gengar and is easy to tech against. The deck will fail as badly as Turncruel and AmphyTric. Lucky for me that I am too elite to fall for stupid Pokegym hype'?

Or (what I think) is the truth somewhere in between? That a SOLID BUILD (lol) of Flygon is a legit contender. Not a BDIF, but a very good deck that you need to prepare to face.

Today's CotD is Flygon Lv X from RR, the level up form of everyone's favorite overhyped card, Flygon. Statwise, 140 HP is a bit meh, x2 Weakness to :colorless is fine since Regigigas died out long ago, -20 Resistance to :lightning is better than nothing, and no Retreat Cost is always nice. Wind Erosion is a nasty Poke Body, especially late game where every card in your deck suddenly matters, and it can randomly rid your opponent of a key card. Extreme Attack is nice; for :colorless:colorless:colorless, you get to do 150 damage to any of your opponent's Lv X Pokemon, a guaranteed OHKO on all but a few of them. As most decks play at least 1-2 Lv X Pokemon these days, it should not be hard to get in a free prize per game.

Modified - 8/10 (Good card considering that many decks use Lv X Pokemon)
Limited - 2/10 (Wind Erosion is annoying, but Extreme Attack is just wasted here)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not many Lv X Pokemon here, if any at all)
 
Way to over hyped/rated, so easy to play around, I HAVE played against a great Flygon build, but it's easy to beat with my SP deck(s) and my main.
Decent card, but it's just....
BAD.

I love the artwork on this card!
The swirly background behind Flygon makes it really stand out which is great.
Gonna look great in my binder when I get one.
But its a Flygon which isn't the best looking Pokémon so not perfect.

It's best stg2 Lv.X. Body is good, attack pwnzors Lv.X's and Artwork is cool. Resistance is good against Flygon but weakness is bad against Ditto and mirror. RC is good. Still it gets way too much hype.

Card's amazing

Takes out most pesky Level X (cept you Rhyperior :lol)

And its body is annoying and strategic. Losing late game, but your opponent is low on deck. MILL HIM! Trust me this works.

I don't know guys...

I find myself CONSTANTLY worrying about making sure I consider/tech for a Flygon X in everthing I'm building....

KNowing that you will have an X simply vaporized the second it comes up is a little intimidating.

The discard body can be SO brutal too...
