Each of its two attacks has a low Energy cost and this means that this Stage 1 Pokémon can have an instant impact on your game. Its Searing Flame attack requires only 1 Fire Energy to do 10 damage and leave the Defending Pokémon Burned. For only 1 Energy more Rapidash can deliver a quick 40 damage. And with no Retreat Cost, it can flee to the Bench with the swiftness you'd expect from a Pokémon so graceful!

This may be a nice card to tech into Blaziken cause it is automatic burn and 10 damage for 1 and no retreat

Why would anyone use this in Blaziken?

You can either do Luring Flame for Burn with the Blaziken FB Basic or . . . wait for a non SP Stage 1 and get a massive 10 extra damage for your trouble.

I think it's actually a pretty decent card, especially for an uncommon. It does 10 damage PLUS BURNED, not a flip for burned, a guaranteed burned, which is a average of 20 extra damage a round. Then T2 it can do 40 damage, not too shabby.

This will be a good PR and draft deck card. Beyond that, it will go into the stack of unusables.

When I saw the title of this, I thought they were revealing the one that was "the end of SP decks". I was ready to see what they were gonna say about that one. Anyway, decent uncommon, but no good in any archetype deck at the moment.
