Naruto Shippūden will premiere on Disney XD tonight at 8:30 p.m. Four episodes will air between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m;

I think that's a rather unfortunate name for a channel, Disney XD. insert interweb joke here.
 
Wow and last year I was thinking they would put this on adult swim for alot of stuff thats shown or said in this lol well now im definetly not watching this =/ Dang you disney first marvel now naruto what next ???
 
I don't even get the channel. However, it does not matter to me, considering that I already watched those episodes.
 
The editing was about the same as it was on Cartoon Network. It's a bit inconsistent. For example, they removed the part where Sasuke pulls out his sword in the first episode. But there are still weapons used throughout the episodes. Maybe the sword was more of a big deal because it had killing intent while Naruto/Sakura vs. Kakashi is just a sparring match? Whatever. We'll just need to wait and see what happens further into the series. Disney XD could either become more lax or get more strict (or just cancel the broadcast entirely).

But this is the demographic Disney XD is aimed at, and this channel has been airing things with fairly mild, although not as violent, content. Perhaps this is a good push towards something more.

The DVDs are still uncut, if anyone's interested in collecting all those discs.

naruto came on again. They took out the part where deidara's arm was crushed! WHYYYYYYYY! Disney is taking out what made naruto shippuden awesome. ACTION. Im probably going to stop watching naruto on tv. I wonder what disney will do when the kazaku and hidan arc. starts. *evil grin*
 
who knows consedering that fack that hidan swears 200+ times with like 10 diffrent curse words also worshiping idols religion i don`t even think disney can air naruto properly
 
I think Naruto fans should just be thankful that it's on TV at all.

The dub isn't THAT bad. It's actually improving.
 
Shippuden edited...lol I"m wondering how they are going to do the Hidan as well, wspecially when shimakaru has to smoke, light him on fire...ect. LOL no swords, how will they show the "Puppet master" fight(i forget his name) but that guy uses NOTHING BUT weapons

why would adult swim pick this up. do they even still play anime's on there. there is nothing worth watching on there anymore since nothing as a regular new episodes and the last semi decent show they had on was s cry ed

i really don't mind dubbed anime and in some cases its better, such as full metal alchemist and yu yu hakisho and dragonball series for us older people. but they ruined so much and cut so much out of this show because for one its disney and two its american dubbing
