col reprints confirmed

I can safely assume this:
-rare candy will be in this set. Why because we never got the one from the battle starter decks with the different art work.
-Poke Comm. and Collector will probably be in this set...Japan got 2 printings of it, we've had one. Makes sense yes?
-Oh and I'm highly against reprint/New PRIMES...I mean come on...really?

I do agree with Cetra with reprinting rare candy, poke comm, and collector.
However, if the format becomes HGSS-on, I fear for what will happen to the game with Lost world in the format, and no absolute counter to it. That's why I think new Primes need to be released, one or more of which have abilities to counter LostGar.

Seriously, dude. It's news. This is public stuff. If YOUR news gets out, you should be PROUD THAT YOUR WORDS WERE SPREAD. Nobody needs to know that YOU did it. If you know that you wrote it, you should feel pride that people are using that knowledge to your advantage. It's like they used your valuable information, but you didn't have to pay for the bandwidth. You got your news from someone else, so this news is spread by word of mouth anyways.
Normally when you leave it alone, a poster will annotate somewhere that this is from Pokebeach anyways. Half your posts are just you asking for credit. If you posted some more instead of just lurking for property rights to something YOU DIDN'T EVEN COME UP WITH, maybe we wouldn't be so mad at you.

I do not understand why people are against English only cards and reprints. PK was a decent set with delcatty RS and Skarmory EX. We are getting nothing worth playing in this set. I would rather get bad English only cards to at least have cards worth reading. The set would be close to redemption if there are foil energy IMO.
Jon, let's be honest. People who have the information of what is in the set have contracts. They are not supposed to be giving this info. Asking for credit of what is supposed to be classified info is just bad. Also, I would say that you coming here to complain does more harm to your website than people copying info without credit.

Foil HGSS energy on the other hand, that's a HUGE possibility. :wink:
Of course TPCi can do whatever they want regarding the format, but...
The only way I see the format rotating to HGSS-on this September, and there is a possible chance of this, is if TPCi rotates out double this year and rotates out none next year. Rotating twice would rotate out 8 sets (Rumble doesn't count so much), which would leave us right at HGSS-on.
After we had that one year of no rotation, I wouldn't discount the probability of it happening again, especially if it magically fixes a few problems like having the same format as Japan (super-d-important) and being able to adopt the new Black and White rules in a pristine format.
I plan on making a thread once I find out all the cards in this set. I'm not a fan of reprints from sets less than a year old and all the SRs possibly being completely useless, worthless cards.

PokeBeach deserves to be credited when info is directly taken from their site and posted here.
PokeBeach is not stealing info if we post it one day and the next day someone sends him the same info/scan.
I know that I don't credit Pokebeach if they post a Pokemon press release in the morning and I post it in the afternoon. I didn't get it from them, I got it from Pokemon. Just because he got it up earlier doesn't mean he owns the info.
Similarly, if someone sends us a Rare Candy promo scan first, we don't own that info. Just that particular image of it.
If he gets another image, that's his to post.
Yes, PTOs get this info first, but we're not allowed to release it ourselves.
If the info gets out because some blogger got packs early and showed them around, that info is fair game for members to post.

Now that is incredibly cruel. Must you taunt us so!? Of course, this means that it won't be Claydol as that will cause some players to be really angry at P!P especially since Lost World is in the set. I'm guessing that Roseannes did make the cut as it's something almost universally wished for.

I hope that this does not mean Claydol. Claydol would wreck the format. We have gotten so far... don't break it. I am hoping the set will have some factors that redeem it... other than the lost link stuff. Also, Pop, you are just so cruel for reminding us that you know things that we don't. :< This "amazing reprint" better be something ACTUALLY amazing... like Mudkip GE. I miss that card :<
As far as the "shiny cards" go, they are literally shinies. Remember those Japanese promos of Shiny Legendary Pokemon? That has basically been confirmed as the "super special awesome" card of the set. Because the set is not a HGSS set, I doubt we will see Primes or Legends (although an introduction to the BW legend pokemon would be fantastic). These shiny pokemon may be high in value... just because they are VERY expensive in Japan. Remember how expensive Japanese Umbreon * were? They are that type of card. They are all terrible cards, though. No doubt worse than Umbreon *, so the value may be lower than it was there... but I may get a few of these guys to see what I can get for trades at worlds.
