Hey guys. Do you think that since there was no Bebe's Search reprint in COL, it could mean a RR-on format? It makes sense, don't you think?

if you follow the pattern that P!P announced, then, yes, it will be rr-onwards.This will see the end of sp and many other decks including, vilegar, gyarados and machamp.
In other words, poeple will have to come up with new decks, making basically the whole format, a rogue zone.

Another rotation thread?

I forsee locking...

But I bet it will be PT-on, but prolly RR-on.

If it was PT-on, it would be this format all over again.

Well on that topic what would change if it was PT on? the biggest things i can think of is Lux Ball, gyarados, Gigas and Uxie being thrown out. what else would drastically change if that happened?

Call Energy.

Also Champ SF, Gengar SF, Sableye, Warp Energy, Prem Ball, Mewtwo X, Cyclone Energy, Unown Q, Cynthia, Warp Point . . .

If the rottion is RR-on, what would the top deck be? I have a feeling that people will be drudging up decks that were hyped or popular from HGSS-on.

Seeing as there are another 2 sets to be released before the rotation, it's impossible to answer that question properly.

Going by what has been reprinted in the CoL set, I'd say sooner or later we'll have an HS-on format, most likely this August. That is my speculation.

Reguardless SP will suffer greatly in the 2011-2012 rotation becuase it loses, Cyrus's Conspiracy, Energy Gain, PokeTurn, Power Spray, and Honchrow G. I think most likely Blaziken FB and Garchomp C will be playable in an RR-on format but as most likely as techs. Reguardless a 100% SP deck will be next to nothing next season.

So what could be playable in an RR-on format? Most likely LostGar, or for non-Lost World players I can foresee Flygon making a possible comeback thanks to DCE still being around. I'm still curius to see what will be in our next set after Black and White. Once we see that set we'll all have a clearer idea of how the '11-'12 season will be like.

Remember what the point of the Rotation is? for pokemon to make money. So when they take out our biggest source of Drawpower, Uxie/ Uxie Lv. X, They are going to Implement another draw power "supreme" (like claydol, he was supreme)
So my Prediction is, in the set right before a Rotation that takes out LA/SF (I think the new Rotation will be PT on), We will have the Privilege of using another Draw power major.
On the Same note, The biggest decks of really any time, which in my opinion all lay in SF, are being rotated probably, so we should be on the lookout for Some Really über playable cards soon. if not soon expect to see a BDIF card come out by Next rotation, (August?)
This is all the opinion of a Player who has only gone through one Rotation However.

HGSS - On.

This eliminates the LvX mechanic and takes the SP situation out. Power creep is back and SP is definitely something that does not favor HGSS formatting or BW formatting. Legends and Primes are the focus.

No way. They didn't have a rotation two years ago so that they could have a bigger card pool. You are saying they are going to rotate out what would be the equivalent of two years of set? No way. I expect PT-on. It makes the most sense. However I could see them doing RR-on. Dialga G Lv. X is a big reason I expect it to be PT-on. Without it Vileplume can just run wild, not that it isn't already doing that.

Why on earth would P!P make the format PT-on? They stated that they'd rotate 4 sets a year, and if they keep going by that trend then PT is on the chopping block. Time to start writing our eulogy for Cyrus and/or Uxie like we did for Claydol. It won't surprise me at all if P!P makes the next format HS-on but I am also expecting an RR-on format for next season.

RR-on gives us more staple cards to work with like Bebe's Search, Spiritomb, Expert Belt, and Palmer's.

HS-on will force us to focus more on Primes. As for TSS engines we'll have to rely more then ever on Collectors, Communications, Elm's Training Methods, Interviewers, and Flower Shop Lady. Better start hoarding these cards while they're still easy to get.
