Hey i will be proxying a few cards from the Black and white set:

Max Restore
Trainer’s – Goods
Choose 1 of your Pokemon, and restore all of its HP. Then, discard all Energy attached to that Pokemon.
You can use any number of Goods cards during your turn.

Pokemon Catcher
Trainer’s – Goods
Choose 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon, and switch it with his or her Active Pokemon.
You can use any number of Goods cards during your turn.

Heres The decklist:

3-3 Steelix Prime (SF Onix)
2 Uxie
2 smeargle
1 unown Q

3 dce
4 special metal
6 metal energy

4 pokedrawer +
4 super scoop up
4 junk arm
3 broken time-space
3 pokemon collector
3 Max Restore
3 PONT
2 bebe's
2 pokemon catcher
2 expert belt
2 energy exchanger
1 warp point
1 conductive quarry
1 pokemon communication
1 luxury ball

The strategy is to set up very quickly to turn 1 steelix with DCE using energy stream to pick up discarded metal energys that you discarded with junk arm. attach next turn, and energy stream again and you will have a 140 HP tank (160 with ebelt) hitting for 100 (120 with ebelt) a turn being protected by special metal energy.if you think he is going to be knocked out use max restore, it discards all energys and junk arm can pick it back up again if you need it. try and have another DCE available after you max restore so that you can energy stream straight away. This deck is suprisingly fast and fairly consistent. please give your critique.

1 unown Q

4 dce
5 special metal
5 metal energy

2 Max Restore
2 PONT
2 bebe's
2 pokemon catcher
2 expert belt
2 energy exchanger
2 warp point
1 conductive quarry
1 pokemon communication

Some changes you could make in bold. Just ideas.

Charlie..,

max restore and steelix doesnt mix since itll slow you down bad

how so?
so your saying that Blissey slows it down as well?
the only difference is that blissey can be sprayed/power locked.
it is harder to use because you need 2 cards.
and max restore can be picked up again with junk arms.

I like your idea with the max restore, But one serious problem i see about your deck is the crazy low pokemon count. You only have 11 pokemon!! yes most of them are basics at 8 but you run the risk of Mulliganing a ton before you can get one. For a start definately run 4 of your starter whether that be smeargle, sableye, or whatever you like the best. I also think a skunktank G is a staple in any steelix deck. A all around staple like Azelf cant hurt either.

heres what i'm thinking of running

3-3 steelix prime
2-2-2 klinklang
2 uxie
1 skunktank g
1 azelf
2-2 Lanturn prime
total 20 poke

Klinklang – Metal – HP140
Stage 2 – Evolves from Gegearl

Ability: Gear Change
Choose 1 Metal Energy attached to one of your Pokemon, and move it onto one of your other Pokemon. This ability can be used any number of times during your turn.

[M][C][C] Gear Saucer: Flip 2 coins, this attack does 80 damage times the number of heads.

the new klinklang has an ok attack (if a little flippy) but its ability lets you move the energy off then max restore then put it back and keep on doing 100-120 a turn, lanturns there for fire matchups mostly. may also change some of the stuff for one of the starters mentioned above

You can't afford to discard energies from Steelix with Max Restore. Play it like

3 Luciens Assignment
2 Warp Point
3 Warp Energies

So, you warp out a damaged Steelix, Luciens all the energy to another, newly active one, Max Restore the benched one, and continue. I still think you need Blissey. It helps get energies in the discard for an early Energy Stream.
