-All infinites are allowed, that includes Marth's standing grab release infinite on Ness, Squirtle, and Lucas (up to 300%) and King D3's Infinite chain grab (up to 300%).
-Best of 3 (Best of 5 Winner/Loser/Grand Finals)
- If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.
-Bowser/Ganon/Kirby/Dedede suicide attacks. If these moves are used to end a match and a sudden death happens, Bowser/Ganon/Kirby/Dedede will be declared the winners.
-All other discrepancies, if they occur, will be settled using the rules on this page.
-All participants must make their own entry posts, no entries from people not registered on PokeGym.

You must play your first match on one of these stages. This is done by striking stages and playing on whichever is left. The first player strikes one, the second player strikes three, then the first player strikes two more.
The following are the allowed STARTER stages.

-Lylat Cruise
-Pokemon Stadium (Melee)

The following are COUNTERPICK stages, along with all starter stages. The loser of the first match chooses one of these. Before they choose, the other player can ban one stage that can not be chosen.

-Pictochat
-Green Greens
-Rainbow Cruise
