Machamp Vileplume

This deck is insane...

I love it so much. The Plume helps the Gyarados matchup by slowing it down, and the Machamp helps the Dchomp matchup by...well, being Machamp.

Thoughts?

???

My friend is currently 4-1 against Gdos with this deck...

It's still hit hard against trainerlock, so it's slowed down tremendously and T2 Plume is nothing to scoff about when playing Dos.

still machamp/vileplume will only work in an area with areas that dont have magnezone or gdos

Have you, like, tested against/with Machamp/Vileplume?

It sets up decently, and still has insane power to OHKO plenty of things, plus Vilegar has a bad matchup with Vilegar anyways.

Did you just do standard Vilegar but with Champ?

My friend plays it a bit different. Runs a dozen hand refreshers, including 3 Judge to mess up Dos.

The original point of the deck was to have a better Dos matchup than straight Machamp and have a better Dchomp matchup than Vilegar, and considering he went 4-2 (one loss was a deadraw to a Dos, like 3 Machops, 2 Oddish, and 2 Fighting + drawing into Machamp Prime, one loss being due to a legitimate Lostgar) so I'd say it did its job.

I don't believe that we, the scrubs of PokeGym, have the right to even discuss such a deck as Curran Hill's. He and his deck concepts... way out of our league.

Trainer dos can set up under trainer lock. ChampPlume cant beat Gdos. I could see a vilegar with champ tech having a shot.

Uhh...VileChamp is 4-1 against Dos...

It can have difficulties setting up under Trainer Lock, and you're free to set up primes/whatever.

edit: and with 3 Judge and 2 Looker's it can really stop it even further.

Pori why are you so annoying? Idgi.

Champ Plume is alright but nothing to boast about. It came as a great play to Curran's meta obvs.
