I somehow knew Yanmask would be number 1. To me Probopass is the creepiest looking poke. It's got two Nosepass for ears!

Wait wait wait, pokemon used to be people????

Well I remember hearing that a book in the library in D/P said:

There was a Pokemon that married a human.
There was a human that married a Pokemon.

In the olden days, people and Pokemon
were the same so it was ordinary.

But obviously that was taken out in the non-Japanese versions. If anyone has a Japanese D/P game and can read Japanese, I would really like to know if this is actually true.

These kinds of Pokedex entries have been around forever...

Banette holds one of my favorites in concept. A doll given life by anger and hatred, containing vast amounts of energy within its zipped body.

It's not quite creepy, but Kadabra's pokedex entry is definitely strange:

"It is rumored that a boy with psychic abilities suddenly transformed into Kadabra while he was assisting research into extrasensory powers."

Well. . . that would suck. . .

ELESA SLEEVES MUST HAVE!!

...though I gotta figure out what kind of deck to put into them...

Yep. I ordered 4 packs of those last week.

And how could this thread be complete without Silver's Kabutops Pokedex entry? "With sharp claws, this ferocious, ancient Pokemon rips apart prey and sucks their body fluids."

Gardevoir's ability to make a freaking black hole didn't make the list?

A Pokemon so violent it has its OWN PRIVATE DIMENSION, given by the GOD OF POKEMON ITSELF, didn't make the list?

For shame.
