Sorry mods if this is in the wrong forum. This trade happened at my league, I think it's pretty fair/I mighta come out a little ahead.
 
okay, I told him we can tradeback within a week, he just really wanted to RH out his luxchomp, and I wanted to add cards but still be able to play my deck. so he threw in all the non-holos to close it. thanks for answering.
 
No, no, no. You did not rip him off badly, if at all. The people above are incorrect.

The 3x RH DCE make it a pretty fair deal, TBH... those still bring in about $9-$10 each. I would actually say it's even, and I do know what I'm talking about. The thing worth most on his side is the Blaze FB Lv.X, which is around $11. The other stuff isn't worth a whole lot.

It's also worth considering that RH DCEs will spike again after rotation, since they will still be a critical card in many decks.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
 
Okay, that makes me feel better. The guy I traded runs the league so I figure he'd know the rough card worth. I still checked a bunch of sources - and while DCE RH can be found for $10/$12, every place NOW (including eBay) is out of stock... so that makes them worth more IMO. collectorscache has them for $18, so that's what we used for pricing and it worked out okay. Don't forget those CoL holo energies go for about $7 most places. Not sure they're worth that but still. I think I come out slightly ahead, because we did the deal now, not right before rotation.

Here's another one I was wondering... Gengar Prime and Uxie Lv. X - both for $49 shipped. ~35ish for Uxie ~12 for Gengar. Found Gengar for $12 on shop2stop but they're sold out.. other sources have it $25-$40ish. Uxie is anywhere from $65-100 in online stores (lol- who's gonna rent it for $20/month). Pictures and auction say mint/NM. Guess I'll find out when they get here.

Gengar is worth well over $12... if anyone offered you those two cards for only $49 shipped, you should absolutely take it. I recently sold just a Uxie Lv.X alone for $50 shipped, so that's a very good deal.

The person trading the RH Collector is coming out slightly ahead there, but not that much. It's close to fair, especially considering the extremely high demand for RH Collectors right now.
 
I would have to diagree here. The RH Pokemon Collector is going for around $15 each. The non holo is averaging $6. The Sableye are around $4 each. Add the Initiatives and the Bebe and it's $24.50 for a $15 card.

Someone is getting ripped...
