Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

CMT...or Zekrom/Eels for states?!

Depends . . .

Which one to you have the best list for?

Which one do you feel you play best?

Are you expecting a lot of Terrakion decks next week?

hmmm well the issue is when i play against CMT with the eels deck...I always lose....CMT is too fast but I fear how it plays against trainer lock

ZekEels shouldn't really be losing to CMT that much. In my experience/testing, ZekEels is 60-40 against CMT.

It varies with different lists.

A Zek/Eels running 3-4 Thundurus will have a good match up against CMT running 4 Tornadus/2 Mewtwo

But not every version of the deck is built that way.

True. I honestly think that playing 3 Thundurus is necessary. Even if ZekEels is playing 2 Mewtwo to CMT's 3, you can Super Rod a Mewtwo back or Catcher KO the other two prizes.

There's a lot of factors to take into account too.

CMT will usually have the speed advantage (and is very good at donking lone Tynamos), plus who knows how many people are going to show up to week 2 of States with Terrakion and Landorus decks?

All good points again. In my testing, CMT can get a T1 attack (be it hurricane or X-Ball) about 25% of the time. Possibly more, but with my sub-par list that's what I've noticed.

I'll be playing ZekEels for week 3 of states, and since I'm a paranoid android concerning Terrakion and Landorus, I'm playing a Tornadus for fun.
