Great Trades Thread

I was at a pre-release tourney for D&P Legends Awakened I believe, and I pulled a Mewtwo Lv. X from the packs they gave me, and afterwards this kid came up to me and practically begged for it. At the time I knew that I wanted to collect the Gold Star cards, but didn't really have a sense of value for them, so when he offered me a Groudon Star, Kyogre Star, and the Azumarill box topper, I accepted. I now regret choosing Kyogre over Metagross, but hey, it was a great trade regardless :p
 
Today I traded for this:

My:
x1 FULL Ho-oh Legend
x1 Alph Lithograph 1
x1 Indigo Plateau

His:
x1 Tornadus EX FA (Excellent-NM)

Then I trade the Tornadus for a Groudon EX FA and a Zekrom EX FA.
 
I traded a Groudon-EX FA for a Tornadus-EX reg, which I traded + a FA Victini FA for a FA Tornadus-EX, and I traded that +2 N and a Catcher for a FA Darkrai. I was pleased. Also traded 2 FA Darkrais for a Crystal Charizard, and the Darkrais are going to be tin promos... :)
 
No. Dark Dragonite wasn't in any Team Rocket theme decks. It was an error card that came from packs.

*EDIT* Card came in today. In my opinion, T&T can be "greedy" on bulk all they like!

At the last pre release I went to (Emerging Powers) the kid was like hey I want your encore whimsicott so I was like sure (I had no idea the value of it) and said hey can I have your manaphy (I didn't know it's value just that it was a decent card) and we traded, when I got back home I realized I ripped the kid :(
 
That is an awesome story xD
I think all my great trades are ones I've done on pokegym, whether I get the better deal, or they do.
