DA RULES ... And How to Become A Verified Seller, All SALES MUST LIST PRICE!!!

I went to user cp, saw the control panel, and scrolled down to miscellaneous, but "Group Memberships" wasn't on there. Can I get some help with this?

It is under the second group down on the left which is networking. It is the third one in that group.

Well no matter what I like pokegyms style I can't see myself in another forum.

I fully agree...like it or not I do agree with the 1 year rule and than 50 or even 60+ feedback. Every per caution should be taken to prevent people from getting ripped off.

Out of curiosity Psyduck, when can I become a verified seller again? I just think it's a bit ridiculous that a simple typo mistake could get me unlisted seeing as I've never had any issues prior to this over the last six years.

Please let me know, I appreciate it. Thanks!

It will be at least 6 months. And you are responsible for your thread. You make a mistake with pricing and get a bid for that price you need to honor it.

I'm confused by the rules. Nowhere in the rules does it say that you are required to sell a listed item on a sell thread. As of right now, according to the rules of verified sellers on this site, I'm only seeing it as being required to sell something if it's an auction. Where's the line of cards listed in a sell thread not being in your possession anymore because of no longer having it because you traded it recently or haven't updated in a while and just having second thoughts and using that last one as an excuse to avoid being in the situation that I'm in currently.

Arguably, there are these rules:

11) If you post it here, and you get bids here, you must sell it here. If there are no offers for an AUCTIONED item, then you are free to take the item out and dispose of it elsewhere. However if you get bids - even if the price isn't as much as you would like, you are under obligation to send the item to the highest bidder. If there is anyone who doesn't follow through with sending to the highest bidder, their sales privileges will be revoked.

If the word bids in this is being applied to offers to your sales thread, again, where's the line between knowing this is a rule and stating that you no longer have it to avoid trouble and actually no longer having it. Secondly, this doesn't appear to be clear enough to understand that you are required to sell it.

19- You must have the cards/items in your possession to post them on the site or to even offer them in a deal. (save on grief and aggrevation when the card you thought you were going to get never arrives)

This only states that it's in my possession, not required to get rid of it once it's listed.

Sorry if it seems that I'm desperately trying to get out of this because I am. I'm just disappointed that I'm unable to sell among the site when firstly, the rules don't clarify this to my knowledge and secondly, it was a simple mathematic mistake that could have made $40 of a difference.

Please reach me when you're free, I'd like to talk about this concern a bit more. Thanks Psyduck!

This would fall under the "commons sense" rule. Common sense states if you're going to list something for sale, you're going to sell said item.

Which is normally fine, but at the expense of a typo creating a difference of what would have been $40 in this case I find it ridiculous. Even at shopping centers, they wouldn't honor the price as it's already happened to me at one time.

I'm not trying to bicker here about this, but if you ended up going to a yard sale and saw a PS3 sitting out, asked how much and they told me $20 and as I pay for it am told "I thought you meant this item" you're going to tell me they'd own up to that kind of difference?

Just trying to be reasonable about this because I did the math and wrote the same number down twice rather than the first number I intended to originally put. I've been a fair trader/seller for 6 years now on this site and have never once had any issues with anything or anyone. Being scammed a few times and never scamming anyone or having negative reputation throughout my time here. A simple typo isn't what should get me removed from this privilege when there's people scamming others the way I had been already. I'm just misunderstanding is all.

There should be a line between selling items listed and auctions. Otherwise I could have gotten myself out of this by lying, which is ridiculous because I shouldn't have to go against something I believe in to get out of said situation by saying I no longer have the codes. I shouldn't necessarily have to be worried about honestly owning up to my mistakes. Maybe that's just me.

If it helps any, and if I was still a mod(which I'm not), I would have given you the same decision.

Your price wasn't that low as I get them in lots of 216 codes for 25 cents a code plus $2 shipping of the actual cards.

The tcgo has seriously lost alot of players now due to the delay of the new version and terrible flashplayer which lags you out half way through a game......Hopefully it will thrive again, which I hope as I'm hoarding codes. But until then I have seen alot of people sellign codes for what you had posted.

-Sigh-

So how much longer can I go before being able to sell again? I hadn't had any issues with trading/selling for the years I've been around leading up to this point...

You were told in this post. I checked and it will be 12/10/12 when you can apply to sell again.

I have to wait a year right??
Or did the rules change??
Cuz if I can sell now ill apply...

Yes you have to be a member for one year and have 20 verifiable refs. Since your join date is 08/16/2011 then you can apply on 08/16/2012 to sell.

Ok where is the link I can apply at to be a seller....
I have less then 24hours....
I've been good for a year and I'm on the top 10 list....

A reasonable amount of time should be expected for payment.

Of course asking here isn't the best thing to do. Communication with the buyer should produce far superior results.
