Seems like Gamespot are hosting the stream. They also streamed some of the VGC matches and let me tell you, the commentary was TERRIBLE. Absolutely terrible. The guys commentating barely knew the name of the Pokémon in front of them.

I'm really hoping we'll be getting some decent commentators for the TCG final but I'm not getting my hopes up.

One guy has never seen the game before, the other guy knows too much about the game.

A lot of awkward silence.

Weird when the game text is in another language and the commentators aren't trying to call the attacks used, just wait for big damage hits to announce, "that looked super effective!" Any casual/competitve player can tell you what Protect looks like, same for various other attacks.

hopefully TPCi had enough forethought to keep this stream from being a joke. cause otherwise, you know, they will get a TON of flack for letting people mispronounce Pokemon names while the Top Cut fellows watch from the side.

Wellp....that's what happened with the VGC top 16, 8, and 4. One of the announcers called Heatran a Terrakion, pronounced Salamence as "Sal-eee-menc-eee" and neither of them were very good at letting the games pace themselves. Many times they called a winner before the game was over, and then the other person would win. One of them used to be a judge, and he wasn't too bad, but it clearly wasn't quality commentary.
 
The stream is up now, it looks great P!P. If you are reading this please consiter to stream the Closing Ceremioies as well.
 
I really want to find that VGC stream now (if it was recorded)

Well this is the first year that TPCi has done this so we shouldn't really be expecting anything amazing, but at least its being streamed live. Things can only get better from here on out.
