Werewolf XVIII: Dimensional Clash: Wolves/Outlaws Win!

KK is leaning scum because of how unlike him lurking is. He's usually a very active player when he's town. I can't say the same of Moo2 and Shinori because I've never seen them play.

Next up is Glaceon. I'm honestly surprised no one's said anything at all about him. He hasn't made any productive posts; he said one of the subs was probably a wolf and then explained what he meant when people found it suspicious. He also said he was going to post last night (here), but he never made any post of interest except a bump for Kayle. No reads, no questions except about scorri's speech impediment (which, at this point, I don't think there's any doubt that it's true), and no scumhunting. This is another player who's playing extremely differently from usual (again, from what I can tell). Am I the only one who finds this suspicious?

Glaceon, if you do decide to come out of hiding, what are your reads on the players that are being considered suspicious currently? (Vablakes, Sandslash, Jpulice, and even myself)
 
I'd like to post the following information, which should help us when we start uncovering roles. The following are players that have defended each other or claimed that someone is town. Specifically, if someone is revealed to be a wolf, it should provide us with some likely targets down the line. One strange thing I've noticed is that Pokemonplayer101 and Vablakes have been strongly supporting one another - part of the same wolf pack, or just friends? Please let me know if I've missed anyone, and keep in mind, wolves may defend townies in future posts to throw off the scent.

I wouldn't say I defended ProHawk, and if you did want to say I defended him, you should probably also clarify that I only did so after pressuring him and getting a response I liked...

^ I realize you were defending his point (more subtly his playstyle, though), but only right after I voted for him. I'm not saying any of this means anything right now, but we can draw inferences when the time comes...

Uh, no, its not the same thing. G landers said that you were the only option for the lynch. Now, there are two multiple explanations for why he said this.

1. He might have really meant that you were the only lynch for now, and simply failed to say so (I don't remember the response he made to you, so this theory may be inaccurate).

2. He might truly believe that you are the only option for the lynch. If this is true, then regardless of what you think, this would be his opinion, and not yours. Even if you do not agree with him (you have made it very clear that that is the case) that does not mean that he has to change his opinion. He does not have to change what he believes to satisfy you, or anyone else.

3. He is trying to do what you suggested. Personally, I believe this to be by far the most unlikely explanation. It is made unlikely not only by the fact that it is one of three options, and therefor technically has only a 33.3% chance of being correct, but also by the fact that the idea of a plan like that is just plain silly. Do you really believe that someone would be so stupid to assume that a single word is going to convince the entire town that you are the only option for the lynch? If so, then I think that you not only have to start assuming that G landers has more intelligence then what you are suggesting, but also assume that everyone else is a little bit smarter then what we would have to be for that scenario to work.

Also, you are attempting to counter my argument that you are looking to deep by comparing this, to my argument of how you used the word "must" when you were accusing Crimsonsky of being a wolf. Those to situations are completely different. When you said that Crimsonsky must be a wolf, you made (even if you did not realize it) a commitment. You said that there were not other possibilities, that he was a wolf and must be lynched. There should not have been backing out of that statement, at least not easily. Tell me, what was your reason for changing your mind?

I'll say it again, I really don't care that you claim that you were tired, and did not mean what you said. That does not matter to me. You could easily be lying. The fact is that you accused someone of being a wolf without any doubt in your statement. If you had not felt that certain, then you should not have posted in that way.

And on other hand, we have what G landers said to you, and your interpretation of his post (which I find to be extremely unlikely). First off, he did not say that you were 100% a wolf, but that you were the only option available. He also did not try to take it back like you did. At least he has remained consistent. You on the other hand have not.

I don't have time to look over my post, or to add any more thoughts on the subject. If anything is unclear, then please make a post saying so, and I will respond to it as soon as I have time.

Post #2 is a bit of an interesting thing. If you played like this last game, where you were scum, then why would you use the exact same playstyle, and then say it's WIFOM? Why would you WIFOM the town about whether you are scum or not?

Post #3 is uninteresting.

Post #4: How does a vote on you from thunderjolt make him paranoid?

This post just makes him look like he's buddying. Hard. You're literally telling us to assume ProHawk is town just because you said so.

Post #6 is filler, so nothing to say about it.

1. You clearly didn't ready the game I referenced. Also you didn't read A/AM's game. When you do, we can talk.

2 cont. See above. If you can't establish meta then you can not say this is my wolf play. You don't know if this is my style as town or wolf? you can not use this to clear or implicate me, which would be clearly WIFOM? Additionally, ask yourself..... If I'm aware of my play in the last game why would or wouldn't I use the same style.

3. Why is my third post uninteresting? At least one person was curious to why I asked the question. I owe you a response Tables. (next post but for now you lean town *gasp* H-D is going to use this against me)

4. You clearly don't understand. Please explain your previous WW experience. How many games as town/wolf.

5. Explain. How am I budding Vablakes? Additionally, why is my clear list something people should listen to? I get the sense you are indicating I'm correct? Awesome. So if you flip scum, I can clear Prohawk from this.

6. Filler? If I was budding Vablakes in my 4th post how is this not budding Kayle?

I know you are talking about XVII-A, I'm just letting you know I haven't forgot about our first game, where you shamelessly killed me off. :rolleyes: Honestly, you are heightening my suspicions, towards you. I'm obviously a threat to you. I'm not sure if you know I'm town and your are cutting me down, this is multiball and you are on a non traditional win con, ORRRRR you are lazy town, wanting me to do more heavy lifting for you. The best defense is a good offense? I don't know what you're worried about - you voted for him, so if Valblakes is a wolf, it actually makes you look more like a townie.

These were all my impressions - whether you defended someone or not, my post was all about how I perceived your post. Back up your points - the way I see it is:
a) if you're a wolf, you're definitely going to contest my post if you tried to defend a fellow wolf
b) if you're a townie, you either backed a wolf without good reason, or you have nothing to worry about

Notice I put myself for the two people I defended? I'm not about a double-standard. If you think I wrongly put you on my list, you can quote your post and explain your reasoning behind it (it's a long list, I'm not going to quote all of the posts) - chances are that's a bad idea though.

1. I don't have the time to go back and read another game, so I can guarantee you that won't happen.

2. When I say playing weird, I mean "Why would a townie ever play like this? Ever?" My major problem with it is that you said it was WIFOM. Why would you need to use WIFOM if you're town? No, I don't mean PR WIFOMming. I mean playing as you did scum in XVIIC and then saying it could be WIFOM. There's just no reason to make yourself appear like that if you're pro-town.

3. "He uses absolutely everything I say against me, he must be scum!" Yeah, no, don't even try it. So you want to know about his Tables' WW/Mafia experience. I don't find that interesting.

4. Okay, I admit, I've only played one town game. It still looks like a complaint that he's voting you: "He's voting me, therefore he must definitely be paranoid or scum! There is absolutely no way anyone could suspect me!"

5. I said you were buddying ProHawk, not Vablakes. What gave you the impression I said you were buddying with Vablakes?

6. That's not buddying. That's fluff.

Please, PM, listen to the mod. He said the subs had nothing to do with faction, but rather them just obtaining information they weren't supposed to. They could've all been townies communicating outside the game, it could've been a case of a wolf PMing the others by accident. The point is, we don't know. First off, its my belief that Akane, Cabd, and KingPiplup were scum that knew of another faction by accident and no one can change that belief. As for your questions, I say you and Prohawk are Town and Vablakes is leaning Scum. However, since I don't care about you three, Vablakes is not being voted for. However, there is something I need to get off my chest.

homeofmew, do you mind posting? You're acting so scummy that I could hang you with rubber right now by lurking. So, why don't you try to actually post something of use to possibly change my mind.

Uh...tunnel vision much? PM, don't you think it's more important that we get rid of an active scum? An inactive scum isn't as harmful to the town as an active one.

Besides, I highly doubt 3 wolves got replaced for getting information. After all, they are the informed minority in the formula.

I knew the bump was a bad idea xD.

I'm a bit busy as this is one of 4 swim practice night and I have a crapload of HW.

The Vablakes issue is what I have been keeping most track of, and honestly I'd say he leans town from me.

Has he had experience playing before? This seems like the ScraftyG lynch last game all over again. He did say he was a VT somewhere iirc, which is easy to claim, but I trust him for the most part. He has made a lot of mistakes, but I figured I'd rather just keep watching him throughout the day in case he starts acting more scummy, in which case I'd change my mind.

Hey H_D. Please read.... Here's the direct quote. How would you expect me to play? My comment to thunderjolt is similar to yours. You can not use my past game to indicate my alignment. If you did then you should be using all of my games, which you won't establish an easy meta. Again this is all WIFOM. I'm not using WIFOM, thunderjolt is.

Additionally, if you refuse to read any of my previous games, you clearly have no intent on determining my actual alignment. Additionally, DC725 has asked you a fantastic question about your read on Moo. If you only have played one WW game how have you established meta on KK? How is he lurking and not Moo. I was expecting more from Moo with his few posts prior to the restart of the day. However, you find this null. WHY?
