Ok, so after some time re-reading through everything up to this point- this is what I have:
I am going to first-
Unvote: Crimsonsky
There is something bigger that stands out right now, so time to address that:
Even though I did say that both AT and Vegi read townie to me in a previous post- one will now get my vote.
Vote: AbsolTrainer
In WWA, I was Renton. A wolf managed to get me all twisted up with word play and I got lynched because I could not get out of the merry-go-round. I could not budge in any direction without other wolves assisting the main attacking wolf into tossing me back onto the merry-go-round.
Point: I believe I sse this tactic happening right now.
So, this is how I see it all playing out and it involves AT, Waynegg, And Sheepbro.
Mind you, I am not going for WIFOM- this is just what things look like to me.
An experianced wolf knows a good number of tactics. One tactic is the one I touched on a bove- the "See a person slip in wording then grill um till they are pinned" - True, both town and wolf can use this tactic, but wolves are likely to use it more then a townie as a townie has to have known townie(s) to support this tactic.
AT saw an opportunity with a townie in the "wording" factor against Vegi. Once this opportunity became availible, AT pounced, and he pounced HARD.
Sure, pouncing hard can serve a purpose, and it also is a tactic that can be open-ended, so that is another wolf tactic that gets used because aggressive play can be interpreted in 2 ways- scummy AND strong townie- which always will leave the door open to slip out of if the heat gets turned up by people voting to lynch that agressive player. Since the tactic is open ended, it also serves as a double tactic in that it can create mixed feelings among the players as to how to interpret that aggressive play. This allows the other wolves to begin assisting in trying to get others to be uncertain yet bring those players to side with the aggressive wolf who is attacking.
I myself saw the aggressive play as townie from AT, I will admit I have not been posting as much, so in a way I have had little influence from anyone asking me anything at all- and wolves looking to try and get me convinced by playing on my emotions or logic to agree with AT.-
OH WAIT- then there is this dominating conversation between AT and Vegi- which took a great number of days time and attention. Grid Lock and stop anything else from happening, because we have a wolf looking to get in early and strong as being a townie, and this "Plan" that AT mentions- this makes me think the wolves can communicate during the day. I will touch on that a little bit.
Dominating the day with conversation in gridlock conditions is a wolf thing by opportunity after the pounce. See, if you draw in attention with aggressive play, then need to convince the town your pro town and have your wolf buddies support you- you need to be able to tell them of the plan, and keep it going AND CO-ORDINATED. With out co-ordination, some tactics can fail. Passing off the agressive townie play would be rather hard to pull off, as slip ups are bound to happen with out some support as to how to exicute the tactic.
Plus- the wolves need to be mindfull of the time aloted to get the town to lynch another townie, especialy in a required meet the lynch votes- in this case, 23. They would have to act fast in a game this size to get in the free kill with so many players. Thus another reason I think they can speak during the day.
Wolves need to be carefull in their wording, and AT is intelligent and knows when to say things, especially the amount of open ended sentences such as the "I have nor fear of wolves"- which even I read it to mean what ever it was I said concerning this- but whatever- it is an open ended sentence that leaves room for that double impression to be taken in any possible way, and allowing other wolves to assit in getting others to see it in the positive light- since I did take that sentence with positive light, and no one jumped my case about it- there was no need for any of the wolves to prod into me to get me to see it in any other way- which I do see some of going on, if you did not take that sentence in the positive- here come the wolves to try to get you to see it as so or try to get you to just brush it off.
Now time wise, we all know we need 23 to lynch- but with the twon tossed on two people- the "plan AND GAMBLE" the wolves are at right now trying to get us to meet or lynch goal- they are on over time on us townies right now so they can get in their free kill for the day. I say gamble because since the day was grid locked on 2 people to be voted on for the lynch- they may lose one of their own, but big problem here is this:
The wolves will look to occupy the priest's protection- and what better way then to do this? Maybe give the strong hint that "you know 1-2-3" three possible wolves? I know AT is good and intelligant, but not on a day one would this be so spot on that he can say this right off. Sorry, it does not fly with me.
Aggresive play and over time looking more and more townie with the help from his wolf buddies- sure, a priest is going to want to protect a player like this, but I do not buy into the mis-leading "1-2-3 wolves" thing at all, as it screams to loud for "Keep me around, I got strong reads!"- again, not buying it.
When the wolves do things such as this, getting the town to see a wolf as pro-town and has good intentions on day one- they easily could back down on day 2 if the person they set up for the lynch BEXAUSE it is day 1. With so little info on day one most of the time- hitting a wolf is ALLWAYS realy low- unless the wolf really did goof majorly, which AT is not one to goof so easily.
A good amount of this is only because it is day one, and most of these tactics will work well for day one- as I even know that for example my vote on Crimsonsky and Tables- which my reason for thoe votes on them I already stateted.
So how does Sheepbro play into this?
Scorri picked up on this, I did as well a little bit. Wolves would love to get approval to look good.
See, the thing is that Sheepbro did this "little test" on AT to see if AT would "react", thus to me it looks as if it was a way to further establish AT's stand as "kept his cool, so since he did not react, he must be town"- like, Sheepbro "attempted" to make AT look bad, then, after a quick shoot down from AT, Sheepbro then makes AT look "more townie" with being satified with AT not reacting. Why "test" a player like that?
Now, with the town being shrunk down on discussion, little time left, the wolves need to get the votes from being split- so they need to work on individuels to get them to change the vote onto the townie (in this case vegi)- Is it just me or has AT been on the scout to get people to change their votes? He did it to Pokemon101, and a couple others. A wolf with little to discuss after the main focus is narrowed down to 2 "lynch options" as the wolves have already narrowed it down too- no time wise- they need to get the votes switched over, so time to get the pack focused on switching thier votes.
See, Waynegg has posted in my opinion a subliminal message- post #628
Why post this at all? I think you posted this to further attempt to subtly get everyone to consider AT's "1-2-3" statement, trying to clear some doubt of us townies as to the wording, which also in a way stronly emphisies the point that AT has this strong "1-2-3" wolve lead.
Also, Waynegg in post #507 from Wynegg- to me this looks like a good double duty posting- in a way it sepporates AT and him by way of the whole "Don't let him get away!", looking townie as I see it.
He also mentions the open ended sentence from AT about the fearing the wolves.
A good number of you players have had some of these little ill- feelings, and as example from how I understand it-
Scorri even picked up on Sheepbro about "trying to make AT look bad"
As a town we need to unite, regardless of the number of inactives, we should be able to meet the 23 we need to rid the town of a wolf on day one. This is how I see things going down, and the reads I have on the big over all day, plus my ohter small reads which I have already posted.
When something is too good to be true, like an offer of a person on day one knowing "1-2-3" sure looks like you do know who is wolf - all of the little things I see after carefull consideration- Absoltrainer is my vote.
Time wise and with going back through to see if anything else contributes into my thoughts on this, this is all I have right now.
Please fellow townies, stick to that first instinct reads you have on AT, and vote according. I just do not see Vegi as wolf, and there is to many ways for what has come about for the wolves to flip back on this if Vegi flips townie if Vegi gets the lynch.
