How to know if Pokemon are hacked

Hi guys
So I'm starting to get a bit into the Pokemon video games
But I don't have the Pokemon I need so I went to the GTS and started trading stuff from my HGSS
To get cool Pokemon but as I went into these events I always questioned "what if I have a hacked Pokemon on my team?" so does anyone know a way to find out if a certain Pokemon is hacked?

http://www.pokecheck.org/ is the best way to check if your pokemon is legal without a cheating device.

and to sign up for the tournament you simply go to the thread and say you are entering.

Thanks. I'm about a 100% sure about most of my Pokemon, but there are few I wasn't. Namely a Shiny Deoxys I got for a huge EV job a handful of years ago.

The only shiny deoxys you could get was from the GBA games. Every other one cannot be shiny.

Well, this one was at least migrated from Honnen.
So I guess there's a chance. I kept it on my Diamond, so I'm glad this works on Generation 4.

PokeCheck is a good way, but there can be a hacked pokemon with feasible stats, if you ever get competitive, train your own pokemon, only real way to know.
