Midnite Mutant Booster Draft @Nationals Sat. 7/7

I do believe this will be our 3rd Annual Midnite Mutant Draft!!! (but i am old i could be off a year or two lol)

PokePop, Blizzard and waiting on Chrisbo to see if he will be joining us in organizing this event.


Most of you know the drill...

REGISTRATION: Same area that Nationals is held 10:30pm will be registration time
BUILD DECK TIME: 11:30PM (you will have half hour to build your deck)
START TIME: MIDNITE!!!

Entry fee: 6 packs of any set of Pokemon, yes ANY! or the cash to buy 6 packs from us. I am not sure yet how much but it will be no more than $25. I am not sure yet what boosters we will have but as we get closer to the event we will post that info here.

Please PM any of us if you have any questions, We will be adding more info to this post, so please keep an eye on things.

As for the rules....Pokepop, Blizzard and Chrisbo can post them here, please!

Diamond & Pearl

I am sure i will have other sets as we get closer.

From what i have heard PokePop has something special for the players in this event!

Ugh I don't care if I'm first seed going into the top 32...I HAVE to play in this!!!
 
I might be up for it, but I am not 100% on it yet. I'll post my final answer next week.
 
I dont know if I will play, If I top cut again I wont (So, I can sleep for Day 2), but if I dont, which would be a really really big shame, I will be playing in that case. So let's hope I dont play in this. :biggrin:

Yes, we will have a very special gift for each and every player!
Something that will make people ooh and ahh when you show it off at home.

For those that don't know how Mutant Draft works:
You give in your six packs of whatever set(s).
We take all the packs given and then randomize them.
Depending on how time is looking, we will either play sealed (you get 6 random packs and build a deck from them) or draft (open the packs one by one, take a card, pass it around, take a card from the one handed to you, etc.)

How to build a deck from random packs??
Well, evolutions can happen one of two ways:
1. A normal evolution. Psychic Ralts from RS can evolve into Fire Kirlia from DF.
2. Any Pokemon of a type can evolve into the next stage of that same type.
example:
Play Baby Azumarill (Water Type).
Evolve into Kyogre ex
Evolve that into Wartortle
Evolve that into Blastoise (hey, a normal evolution!)
Evolve that into Empoleon Lv. X

Got it?
 
Also, while we can't promise exactly what the prizes are going to be this year, last years players can vouch that they were impressive!

How do you function on Sunday? Do they provide an endless supply of coffee?
