This deck has 2 versions. Flygon d and Raichu.

Flygon Version:
Pokemon (23):
3 Trapinch HP
1 Vibrava DF
2 Flygon HP
1 Flygon ex d
3 Elekid Df
3 Electrabuzz DF
3 Electivire DP
1 Electivire Lv. X
1 Magnemite PK
1 Magneton PK
1 Rayquaza ex d
3 Holon's Castform

Trainers (21):
3 Rare Candy
1 Scott
2 Castaway
2 Celio's Network
2 Mentor
1 Bebe's Search
1 TVR
1 Plus Power
2 Strength Charm
1 Crystal Shard
2 Night Maintenence
2 Lake Boundary
1 Warp Point/Switch

Energy (16):
8 Electric
3 Delta Rainbow
2 DRE
1 Cyclone
2 Scramble

Strategy: Same as listed below. I just like this combo best. If Electivire has 3 Lightning and a Cyclone, he attacks for 120. Next turn, we attach a DRE, flygon a lightning for 110. That would just kill anything from Destiny-Infernape-Absolutions-Raieggs. Pluspower is for the annoying Mario matchup.

Raichu Version:
Pokemon (22):
4 Pikachu HP
4 Raichu DP2
3 Kid DF
3 Buzz DF
3-1 Vire/X
1-1 Magneton PK
4 Holon's Castform

Trainers (21):
4 Rare Candy
1 Scott
2 Castaway
2 Celio's Network
2 Mentor
1 TVR
2 Strength Charm
1 Plus Power
1 Copycat
2 Night Maintenence
2 Lake Boundary

Energy (16):
13 Electric
2 Cyclone
1 Scramble

Strategy: Raichu starts to get Lightnings on the field, 2 for no energy. Flygon is there to attach energy. This deck is based on energy. Electivire Lv. X makes your opponent put 2 damage on the pokemon that they attach an energy to. Electivire is basically invincible is your opponent uses stadiums or tools. Lake Barrier is if your opponent runs an Empoleon or Ambush deck and it kills the new Blastoise DP3 no problem. Magneton PK gets lightning energy out of the discard.

you seem to be discarding alot ofcards, how do you plan to keep cards in ur deck so long. I like this deck and was going to make a deck like this myself but, 1) I don't have the cards, and 2)IT DISCRDS ENERGIES ALOT SO I STOPPED MYSELF TO FIND A BETTER WAY TO CONSERVE CARDS AND FOUND NOTHING....

Ugh... its not a bad idea... but it is realy clunky....

And why in the world dont you use the DF electabuzz/kid .... His draw power would alone double your set up time....

I am still working on this. I haven't even gotten all of the cards for it. but, I will use the DF electabuzz. I like the DP1 elekid because of his attack.

DF Buzz is best. Without Castform, I'd rather go with DP Kid, tho...

This is actually kinda nice. Let Raichu sit active until it dies, power your Vires. Levelup, and either smash or protect, depending on how your opponent plays it. I'd probably run a 2-2 Magneton that's used to soak energy and provide a quick big damage attack when Vire can't really do much. Maybe a couple of Colorless Energy to prevent the big discard for Vire's 120? Warp? Cyclone? Are either still in the HP-on format? This looks pretty decent tho! Maybe 4-4 Chu and 4 Candy to make the T1 Candy thing more possible? I don't think that Raikou is really necessary, as Chu will probably just get most to all of the 16 energy out very quickly. Maybe something like this?

Pokemon (22):
4-4 Chu DP2
3 Kid DP1
3 Buzz DF
2-2 Vire/X
2-2 Magneton

Trainers (20):
4 Rare Candy
3 Scott
2 Castaway
4 Celio's Network
3 Mentor (?)
4 TV Reporter and Steven's Advice mix
2 (combination of Charm and Crystal)

Energy (18):
16 Electric
2 Warp/Cyclone/Colorless (Cyclone would be best, IMO)

Rough outline, but it looks promising...

Shard. Basically, two TecH tools that you can thin your deck with Castaway.

I don't believe it. I had an amazing combo in that deck, and I just didn't even *SEE* it! There's gotta be a way to toss in 2 Copycat/POR/Rowan to throw the Magneton'd energy back into the deck for Chu to pull out again. 120 won't be a dream!!!

Plus one or two Night Maintenance after a Vire LvX is down.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

18 energy seems a lot considering you can use Magneton and search them out, plus castaway gets them.

DRE isn't Raichu searchable. Maybe 1-2, and maybe 1 Scramble, but I wouldn't go more than that...

18 Electric is because it's darn near impossible to get them back into play once they've been used up. Raichu's basic purpose is to die after getting all the Energy onto the field, then Vire hits for a consistent 50 or 120 every turn after that.

I would really need 1-2 Scrambles and I don't think that DRE would be good especially since that turns a 50 into a 40. and we really do need those energy because we discard almost all energy when Electivire Lv. X uses Electivire's attacks.

What I really like about Electivire is, you can stockpile energy somewhere on the bench and then just move up as many as you need with that power of his. So you could safely control damage-spread from Ampharos decks by leaving your energy on something inconsequential, then pull those energies up with Electivire when you're ready to attack. Also, having all of those stockpiled energies makes Magneton a very good attacker as well, and without the cost of discarding energy. You could spend your first few turns getting energies in play with Raichu, then when he is knocked out Magneton can do some major damage, and by the time those two are gone, you should have your Electivires set up and ready to take over.

With all of the 130+ HP pokemon out there you might want some pluspowers? You'll have decent chances of drawing into them if you're drawing an extra two cards per turn with Electabuzz. The only think you'll still have a hard time with will be lightning resistance, like on Rhyperior. You'd need two pluspower and a crystal shard attached to kill him. Ouch.

Play 3-1 electrive (With 2-2 you have a high risk of both being prized and 3-1 works better)
1-1 magneton(no need for 2 magneton and reduces the chance of begining with magnemite)
energy line - 4 eletric + 2 DRE + 3 Non-Eletric energy(you don't want to discard always 3 energy cards on electrive)
-2 rare candy(why you need 4??? you only have stage 1 pokemon, 2 are more than enough)

I agree with Jayson. You might want to put in a rayquaza ex d or something (110hp basic. it's lightning. it snipes (works with electivire's body).

What would be REALLY fun is combining electivire with ampharos.

RV, Electivre needs to be Active in order to use that Poke-Body. But, in order to combat Mario, it would probably be good TecH. I would love to see it with Ampy as well.

Jayson, with the LvX in the deck, there really is no need for PlusPowers. Your opponent provides the Pluspowers themselves by simply attaching Energy! Also, the VireX is really the better Pokemon to have up pretty much at all times (unless fighting Mario, then you just flip the table...)

Phenom: 2-2 Vire is really better, because the VireX is the better Pokemon to have Active. Any time you can do damage without attacking is a good day. 4 CAndy is for consistency at getting early (T1 going second) Raichus. 1-1 Magneton might work as well, but we're using him as Energy storage. Maybe use Ray as energy storage instead?

Ardoptres: DRE isn't searchable. Raichu is your energy acceleration, and nothing else.
