Whats wrong with TCG, kadabra is a kewl pokemon and somewhere out there there's apokemon player whos favorite pokemon is kadabra.

go blame that dude Greller (sp?), hes the one who doesnt like it. Hes a big star or something in Japan, and since Kadabra's Japanese name sounds like his, he doesnt like it.

i know it sucks, but Japan has said within 7 DP sets, all 493 pokemon will have a card.

Uri Geller is some nasty suer from Israel. He sued Pokemon because Kadabra is a "Nazi" that looks like him in representative symbols. He pressed for 100m and thankfully lost.

EDIT: He is the guy that "Bends Spoons with his mind powers"

Yeah, but Alakazam's Japanese name isn't like 98% of the sound of the guy's name. Kadabra's is--YunGelah which is awfully similar to "Uri Geller". (many Western words that end in a "r" sound switch to a held "ah" sound in Japanese)But since he still is showing up in the video games, I'm betting he'll show up again at some point in card form. Look, the very fact that he was skipped in MT has just made us want him back all the more, right?

They should change its name to "I_am_A_fictional_CHARACTER" Then nobody could seriously sue them and win.

yeah FYI 'Kadabra' is not in any conflict, its Japanese equivalent is, so if anything they could just print that card in English and be done with it

Kadaver. His name totally needs to be Kadaver.

Course, then he'd probably need a type change, being dead and all...

i guess someone will just have to make sure that sue happy SOB cant sue anyone
now, how to do this...
