Clefable DP - Worth as a tech.

Been looking at some random DP cards when I noted Clefable DP. For those who don't know it from the top of their heads, here's a refresher:

Clefable LV37 - HP90 - :colorless
:colorless:colorless Double Slap 30x
Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads.
:colorless:colorless:colorless Metronome
Choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. Metronome copies that attack except for its energy cost. (You must still do anything else in order to use that attack) Clefable preforms that attack.

Weakness: :fighting: +20
Retreat: :colorless:colorless

I think this can be a tricky card, in particular if you use stuff like Scramble Energy (Which allows you to Metronome stuff like Electivire or Infernape) or Boost Energy. Its pre-evo, Clefairy, is solid 60 HP with an Insta-Sleep attack, which can disable certain starts.
Not saying Clefable is anything meta-breaking, but I just think that it could do more then given credit for. Copying an Empoleon's attack for example isn't a bad thing.

A bad copy of the Jungle one...

Just think in what you said:

- Copying Empoleon = You do 70 for 3... the same as empoleon... and it doesn't OHKO Empoleon...
- Copying Ape = 90 for 3... Ape can do 90 for 2... and he OHKO you...

and, if you use Boost the next turn you are energyless... and that's bad...

I'd rather use Mew(star). He copies their attacks and can run with castform. I mean, he might be tech worthy in the new format but i'd prolly just stick to mew right now.

ikari: you then have both in the same pokemon, and you dont need both empoleon and infernape

I'm just saying that if you want to counter Ape/Poleon, dont use a Clefable. The Metronome attack is nice, i'm agree with that, but 3 Energy its to high... and if you use Scramble and Copy Flare Bitz, Cleflable will be discharged the other turn...

Clefable's issue is having low HP and needing energy thrusted onto it.

I find Fire Starters make up for the Low HP (giving Fire back onto the bench quickly after a knock out), gives obvious energy acceleration, and you can combo it with Holon FF to have no weakness (which is in Clefable's case a BIG deal. Fighting Weakness with that HP? Yikes... Lucario LV.X, Rampardos, and Exeggutor d all one shot it. ._.").

But that's just me.
