Well, I wanted a vacation last spring to San Diego, CA.

/me checks tournament pages.

Nothing listed for San Diego

/me checks again for Autumn

Nothing listed in San Diego.

I believe the last tournament in San Diego was Cities.

I'm sure glad the 2nd Largest City in California and the 8th Largest in the Country has tournaments to go to.

Can someone please tell me why theres no tournaments in San Diego? This is after all the second biggest state in the country.

The PTO in that area, Karl Batdorff probably could.....Oh WAIT, he doesn't even read or respond to his players. That's just what I heard by rumor, though.

Yeah. It's not that big of a deal to drive an hour or two north for a tournament, but if we have to to attend ANY premiere event, when we have plenty of venues in San Diego county.. Gas is pricey. =/

Also, most of our premiere events are ran by PT&E, which is situated in NV I believe, and I see Vegas gets two battle roads. =/

=/

my point is: if the players who are saying that there aren't enough events know of venues that are available, why not give the info about said venues to me or the PTO rather than just saying that there are (...allegedly) *all* these places we 'could' be holding events in and why aren't we doing so? some cooperation, please?

Chad,

There hasnt been a tournament held in Chicago sinct I won the 2004 city championship. The only other event held in chicago, I had to run. It will never get better. Once they give up on a city, they dont look back. We currently drive 2 hours for the closest testing ground or tounament area.

I dont mean to be rude here, but why should they care about "2" players (you and Truk) if they can get huge attendance elsewhere? Same as in Chicago.

Good luck and welcome to my world. It will not get any better anytime soon. Just got to accept that.

My suggestion, Buy yourself a hybrid car!
