Great card, It'll get you that one time-tech or reget you an evolution or basic that was just KO'ed. 3 flips means you should get at least one, and any extra is gravy.

The rarity of this card might limit how much play it'll actually see, and it's not a supporter, so it's not searchable with Chingling, Scott or Castaway.

If you have 1 or 2 and aren't planning on selling them, go ahead and play them if you have a tight-lined deck. Otherwise, Night maintenance might be a more affordable play.
 
This is easily the most broken card in the format right now.

With an 87.5% chance for at least one pokemon... this is almost a better pokemon retriever. In decks that lay level xs or 4/4 stage 1s this cad is INCREDIBLE. This is easily a 10/10 card. Not only is it a GOOD LOOKING card, but it's so rare and useful.
 
Often considered the big brother of Night Maintenance, TSD allows you to flip 3 coins and for each Heads to get a Pokemon card from the discard into your hand. This is advantegous because unlike Night Maintenance, you won't have to dig through your deck to find the Pokemon. Granted, you lose the ability to get Energy back into the deck, but most people don't bother using that part of Night Maintenance anyways.

Modified - 9.5/10 (The high cost and rariety of this card, along with its unpredictable nature stops it from being perfect in my eyes)
Limited - 10/10 (Excellent Trainer to use here, though you might not even want to use it due to its rariety)
Unlimited - 4/10 (It can be used here though I suppose there are other choices also)

Today we look at the new Normal Trainer and Secret Rare from Mysterious Treasures, Time-Space Distortion. Flip three coins and get back a Pokémon from the discard for each heads. Odds are good this won’t fail: there’s just one outcome (Tails, Tails, Tails) versus seven other outcomes that result in at least one Pokémon.

It’s a Normal Trainer so there’s no issues like there would be if it was another form of Trainer (or card that used to be classified as a Trainer, like Supporters). It is a good way to get back a Level X Pokémon without any real hassle. It is a good way to get a TecH Pokémon back without any hassle. With luck, it can get an entire Evolution line back to your hand…

Simply put, this card is good. Even I don’t think I can explain why anymore clearly. Fails roughly 1-in-8 times, but it’s a Normal Trainer so who cares?

Ratings

Unlimited: 1/10 – Here I’d go with the reliable alternatives, like Pokémon Retriever and the easy searching options.

Modified: 8/10 – It’s not overly broken, just so simple-but useful.

Limited: 10/10 – As long as you pull even one useful Pokémon, the chance to bring it back is sick in such a format.
 
8/10: This thing is great! But Night Maintenance overshadows it in most situations. This is unpredictable, but Night Maintenence isn't. With NM, you can grab three basics, like Castform or Kricketot, and use one of your left-over Holon Mentor in you hand to get all three! Say you need them, you'd need to play about two TSD to get such an effect. In some decks that have pokemon that seek out guys in the deck, liike nidoqueen and fearow, NM is better. In Infercatty, NM is the play. If you have no cards in your deck or only a few, drop NM and put some goodies back into your deck, then play a left-over TVR or use Energy Draw to get ALL three. I personally like NM better, but the flippy TSD is still a great card. It all depends on how lucky you are, that is why I prefer NM. If NM wasn't in the format, this would be 10/10!
 
Where do you get this card? Is it in normal boosters or a promo?

I think that in the right decks this card is great, but for other decks, like R-gon with Ferrow or t2tune it's not so great. I would say 7/10, should be about right.

It T2tune people play all the TSD they have!!!


I like it alot. I say 10/10.
 
Not much to explain that hasn't already been said by other reviewers. 10/10 IMO. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that slight, slight chance that you don't get anything, but it'll nearly always get 1 Poke.

the ability to put in hand IMEDIATELY is incredible; there is the 1/8th chance you don't, but probability is that you'll get at least one pokemon, and, in most situations, that is usually all you would need to turn a game around in your favor.

of course, decks with poke-searchers like queen and fearow d might find night maintence more useful so that there is a guarenteed pull.

t2 decks LOVE this card. pulling the poke that just got killed is amazing.
 
Time Space Distortion is by far one of the best trainer cards in the game because you can get up to 3 pokemon from your discard pile to your hand. Depending on the number of heads that you roll. Its basically the upgrade version of Pokemon Retriever but better. It fits well in T2 decks, especially when your playing with o so few pokemon. The card is pretty darn expensive but nights maintanence will do.

Modified- Great pokemon retriever mid game and end game. But hard to get 10/10

Limited- This card is way to hard to get so chances are getting that card are slim. 1/10

Unlimited- By far the best pokemon card returner but there are other cards that can do that like Towns Volunteer, Pokemon Retriever, holon farmer, etc. 10/10
