Garchomp & Lake Boundry?

I've asked about 10 Poke-Vets about a Garchomp deck that I'm creating and when they see the list they are all telling me to mix in Lake Boundry. Lake Boundry does x2 damage for a Pokemon's weakness, but unless I'm missing something, wouldn't that only help me double the damage against a :colorless pokemon?

Chomp's pokebody lets you get a +40 if you have the proper energy, but Lake Boundry doesn't give me any edge because of the Poke Power does it?

"10 Poke-Vets" lol I wasn't aware we had that many here
but yeah it doesn't base its damage upon weakness, rather upon the energy of the weakness which ALWAYS grants a flat 40, playing LB won't, say, make it go to +80

garchomp isnt hitting people\'s weakness
thats like saying throwing a clock out the window will make time fly, it doesnt work that way

Actually, I did the clock example once, I thought it worked pretty good

But yeah, Lake Boundary doesn't work with Garchomp.
