You know what will make this coming season SO fun?
Everyone and their mother will be using "Secret Decks"
Half of the "Secret Decks" will be identical to each other (give or take 1 or 2 card)
Each one will have its own crazy name

IMO, Kricketune's Partner ought to be milotic. It's quick, attack is alright, and it's power is fantastic. Not only do you get an extra supporter for your turn, but you get to see your opponent's hand . then, it's just lots of disruption and you're golden.
but anyway, anyone looking for fresh decks would do good to steer clear of electigon and the like. The newer cards are really decent by themselves, so instead of trying to invent the "new metanite" or "new flygon ex d", it'd be good if people obtained some originality. I'm sick of showing up at tournaments to have 4 out of 5 matches be against the exact same decklist (literally).

Garchomp has potential
Prinplup is actually good by himself, empoleon is just gravy.
Mario is scarier than it seems at first
Monarchy isn't good until November 7 (all hail the true Nido-KING)
Electigon is boring, but respectable
The metagame is so predictable, we've got people already deciding what deck's got worlds. what will win is something surprising. a deck that runs on carnivines or some random crap that has disruption cards like they're kindergarteners and you've got the box of oreos. the new "raieggs" if you will.
i'm really sick of flygon in any shape/form/fashion

That actually sounds like a legit answer since Unknow are leters and there is Luvdisc. I guess they hope to start with Luvdisc and grab the Item searchers. Sounds....well...kinda bad >_< Correct me if I'm mistaken.
