I don't think you understand.
Ya I do. It's right here "this championship series allows players to test their mettle against the best players in their state, province, or territory." unless you have a problem understanding English that's exactly what it says.

Thats the slogan for all of the state championships
Actually if I recal the old slogan was "Own Your State" but all those adds if I remember right also said that the tournament was open to everyone, but it doesn't say that anywhere on this page.

It would only make sence for you to only be able to play in your state especially when states is over 2 weeks.

i dont think that's meant to be taken literally, full cheese alchemist.

but the fact that people can only go to two states is kinda nice. i think an honorable player will want to defend their state, instead of driving somewhere else to compete in what they think is going to be a weaker metagame.

If players could only play in their own state, what would be the point in making them only two days?

According to what that says since you live in New Jersey you will either play in New Jersey or you wont play in States since you can't play against the best players in your state in another state:nonono:

Not how it works.
The news article is only worded how it is because everything targeted at a young audience must automatically be as corny as possible.
You can play in other states' states. You always have been able to, and you always will be able to.
=/

Nope, you DON'T understand.

Note, it does not say "...the best players that RESIDE in their state..."

There are no residency restriction on States.

Lets not get into this again, Cheese...

So what about the District of Columbia?:lol::lol:

Seriously, the reduction in events is a bummer.

We just love to play Pokemon. Think about it, 4 states are now 2, 2 regionals are now 1.

Too bad this is all tied to points.....but oh well. It all washes out in the end.

Thanks Mike for publishing the info. ttyl :thumb:
