Yup, worlds is the same time as Gencon indy this year. Talk about crappy luck. I really wanted to go back to Gencon this year, but I think I'd rather go to Florida.
 
Yeah, we are going to make a huge vacation of it and take the boys to Disney, etc. culminating with Worlds. It doesn't get any better than that for the 10 and under set. But it does mean missing Gencon Indy in '08.
 
I'm closer to Indy (2 hrs), but I'll see if I can get my family vacation in Florida this year...
 
If I get invited to Worlds then I will go to Worlds...But uhhh...

If I don't. GenCon it is! And you can all stay at my place. lol.

Worlds in Australia would be blasphemy though. Even *IF* it was held at one of the worlds biggest conventions...>_>

People were talking about gencon in the US.
You should check what dates it is in Australia.
It's probably completely different.

There are always like 3 different GenCon conventions, one in Indy, one in SoCal, and one in Europe (I think). If you go to the GenCon website you can see them all.
 
SoCal got canned after last year. Australia has taken its place.

They had GenCon UK this year. Next year they'll have GenCon France.

But GenCon also sponsors the Star Wars celebration in addition to the 3 GenCons.

Busy bunch.
