The idea is to, all together to make the Top10 supporters in the modified format, counting DP3.

What do you think are the best supporters?

1. Castaway
2. Hamana’s Research – Supporter

Search your deck for up to 2 in any combination of Basic Pokemon cards and Basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

3. Celio's Network
4. Prof Rowan
5. Steven Advice
6. Tv Reporter
7. TGW
8. Copycat

i think these supporters are pretty nifty.

1. holon adventurer
2. mr stones
3. prof cozmo
4. fossil excavator
5. bill's maintenance
6. tv reporter
7. island hermit
8. rival
9. prof birch
10. scott
 
Castaway is one of the most broken trainers ever.
It's no. 1.

and PROF. ROWAN NO. 3???????????????!!!!!!!!
 
there is no best supporter. It all depends on the deck.
A supporter can be good in a deck but again it can be very bad in another deck.
 
1. Castaway (Easily useable in any deck, almost a staple these days)
2. Celio's Network (Another staple that's used in most decks. Shame it gets replaced by the somewhat inferior Bebe's Network [seriously, who came up with that name] next season)
3. Hamana's Research (Think Team Magma/Aqua Conspirator without the limiting "team" text. Will replace Holon's Mentor by year's end at the latest)
4. Steven's Advice (Much-welcomed reprint)
5. TG's Wager (Only real source of hand disruption for a Supporter, think Rocket's Admin but more odd)
6. TV Reporter / Professor Oak's Visit (Both have essentially the same effect, though one discards a card and the other puts it on the bottom of the deck. TV Reporter is also going to be out next format, making Oak's Visit the successor)
7. Holon Mentor (Even though it's weakened with the lack of Holon Transciever, it's still a great card in its own right if you can draw and play it early on)
8. Copycat and Professor Rowan (Rowan saves you one card, but only gets you 4 new ones while Copycat can potentially get you more, but you can't save one)
9. Scott (being able to grab 3 Supporters for future use is good if you're planning ahead)
10. Team Galactic's Mars (Even if you draw 1 less card than TV Reporter, it does allow you to disrupt your opponent's hand somewhat, making it a neat effect)
 
Prof. Rowan at number 4? That card really isn't that great Copycat gives more on average. I think Holon Mentor should take its seat. Holon Mentor is critical to setup in almost all decks. It works well in conjunction with Castaway, #1. BeBe's Search isn't nearly as good as Celio's Network because the purpose of it is to nabb ex cards. Ex cards are dying and that means BeBe's is too. Next season, BeBe's will probably be our only option. :(

Bebe's is good because you can get EX cards. For anyone that plays an EX deck, this card is still a great bet.
Mentor is still a really good setup card by far.
Bill's Maintenance is great too.

I too like Bill's Maintenance. It works better in some decks. I personally think it is underrated by far. It works well with shuffling cards into the deck that aren't good early game, but you may need them later like Night Maintenance. Sometimes I is better to shuffle than to discard.
