My friends November issue of Nintendo Power came in the mail today and on pg109 there is a tiny blip entitled: Month of Pokemon at Nintendo World(October, 2007)

"The Nintendo World store is gearing up for a full month of Pokemon in October. The activities include Manaphy giveaways, demos of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, and special opportunities involving the Pokemon Global Trade Station. If you're in NYC, stop by frequently to check out the Pokemon of the Week, as well."

Best guess, it hasn't been staffed yet or they might try doing this themselves.
At least no one I know is part of it or has been asked to be.

Well, I reported the story, and it is legit straight from the Nintendo Power. Better yet, I'll be stopping by Nintendo World tomorrow while I am still in the area, I'll keep everyone updated.

Well on the pokemon site they said NW is giving away the Manaphys. IDK what else is goin on there
