Secret Wonders Combos

I've been wondering about a few of the new cards in Secret Wonders while, and it's been bugging me that I can't find a combo for one, and another I think that might work.

Weavile. A very good looking card, if played early can work as a fast and efficient deck. That I like. The only thing is that who would need the boost of Weavile's :ppowr:, that turns both active pokemon into the dark type? That right there would make a good and deadly fast deck, and make that Neo Sneasel proud of it's son/cousin/relative offspring.

Another card I've been looking at is that Gallade. 130 HP? Pretty good compared to Gardevoir's general HP. Could the first attack combo with Flygon d EX's Sand Damage? Think about it. For only one :fighting: and one :colorless you can do damage so that any pokemon's HP is 50, and you switch it out, and the sand body and Psychic Pulse can whittle the HP down to 0 in two or three turns if needed. I wonder if that would be a good deck?

Anyway, post some comments, because I'm sure one of these combos will be a winner.

What do you mean by that?

I understand Blissey and Weavile\'s potential, but what about Arcanine?

Arcanine has a power that when he comes into play, he becomes your active, and you can move any ammount of energy from your other pokemon to him

He does 120 for 4 energy, and you can almost literally pop it out of no where when you need it

Hmm... does sound purdy good!

Anyway, what do you think of Gallade? How about any combos for it? Maybe Prinplup, maybe Empoleon?
Sniping is useful.

Try Weavile+Gyarados+Sidney's Stadium. Get a lot of Dark Energy on Gyarados. Make it Dark. Play Sidney's Stadium. Use Enrage for about 100 or Flail for a lot of damage. If you flip tails for Enrage, you're not Confused. :thumb:

Not a bad deck, and with rainbow energy, Scott, and maybe a few techs this deck could actually be playable.

Hmmm... thanks!

If Darkrai and its Lv X form somehow makes it into the set (screw the movie, give us it now!), it'll have a major impact on Dark Pokemon and decks. Weaville also supports Dark decks in general, as well as powering them up quickly. Gallade is also looking to be a big hitter, maybe combined with Gardy PK as well for faster Energy attachment.

But I dunno...most of the cards are still unknown, so anymore combos will remain to be seen.

Gallade: Hi Dugtrio... Didn't realize you were standing there, ready to snipe for 6 damage! D=

...Of course, this depends on a coin flip, and your opponent not whipping out Warp Point.

Meh, perhaps Xatu (SW...?) then?

Raichu MT + Electrivire SW = The new :lightning Pwn!
Blissey MT + Weavile SW = Dark Eggs
Arcanine = Blissey's BEST partner... Catty is good too...

Vire can use Scramble, DRE, Casty etc...
Raichu searches the Energies to Vire and just attack!

4-4-4 Raichu line
3-4-4 Vire (DP1 Kid and Buzz, SW Vire)

For trainers, 4x Night Maintenance to get Energies back to get...
4x TV Reporter
etc...

It's usually good player policy to not really think about the next set of cards until the major tournaments with the current format is over. That way you focus on winning the tournaments in the present and not waste time thinking about the next set when you should be working with say HP-MT. When the BR cycle is over, then start thinking of comboes and such for CCs.

Except... Battle Roads end after this Saturday and Sunday.

Considering how Cities will be worth more then Battle Roads, and Battle Roads are about to end, it's not that early to think about how to use cards that are coming out soon. :/

Now if this were a topic in September, that'd be a different story, but...

We dont even know the full extent of this set yet
And you will have about a month to work on your deck
Jedi was simply advicing that you slow down, rather than get your mind set on a deck idea that could be murdered by some of the cards in that very set

I think dark eggs is gonna fail. Think abt it, blissey is abt speed early game. Playing weavile to search for energies? There's much better pokemon to be attached to! let's say garchomp.

who says blissey's going down? we have RK9!

How about MT Typhlosion with the new Charizard? Charizard burns away all the energy, Typhlosion gets 'em back for another Charizard.
