Updates in later Post

Pokemon: 24

4 Spheal MT
4 Sealeo MT
4 Walrein MT
2 Aipom MT
2 Ambipom MT
2 Mr. Mime MT
4 Chingling MT
2 Chimecho MT

Trainers/Supporters: 22

3 TV Reporter
3 Rare Candy
3 Team Galactic's Wager
3 Celio's Network
3 Castaway
1 Scott
2 Holon Mentor
4 Super Scoop Up

Energy:

9 Water Energy
3 Double Rainbow Energy
2 Scramble Energy

The basic strategy is to start with Chingling and search for mentor to start getting set up. Then if Chingling lives, evolve it to Chimecho and start drawing while trying to set up the other pokemon. Ambipom is used as an early game attacker to disrupt the opponen'ts had or energies once CHimecho kets KO'd. While attacking with Ambipom I continue setting up the Walrein line. The important part with Walrein is to wait until it is nessisary to evolve to try and use its power to discard an opponent's active pokemon. This is very handy to get rid of something that you just don't want to deal with at that point. Then once Ambipom gets KO'd you can send up Walrein to start doing 70 each turn. Since Ambipom was just attacking there is a chance that your opponent will have few cards is hand. ALso using Team Galactic's Wager works well to get your opponents had smaller so that your opponent wont have any cards to discard making their pokemon paralyzed from Walrein. Mr. Mime is used to stall in the early game (if necisarry) while trying to set everything else up.

Name WAMO= (W)alrein, (A)mbipom, Mr. (M)ime, Chimech(o)

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks,

Take out a chingling and 2 sealio for a rare candy, a water energy, and a mentor. Nice, origional strategy. Ambipom rocks, especially with galactic's wager.

Wamo!! Deck Report

Just got back from battle raods and the deck did well, but could be better. Went 2-3 Masters Division :frown:

Round 1: Turn one win. They go first and I rare candy to walrein discard their one Riolu.

Round 2: Play against I play against a deck with flygon ex d. They only start with trappinch and then rare candy to flygon ex d within the first couple turns. I start with chingling and grab mentor, next turn evolve draw 3. I start setting up Ambipom. Retreat, send up Ambipom attack and keep getting rid of their energy. Then I play Walrein, 2 heads discard the lone flygon and win.

Round 3: Play agains Infernicatty. Start with Mr. Mime. They have little energy, but I have no trainers. I stall until they use cessasion crystal to kill the mime. Game goes on and time is called, i use Sealeo to snipe the Delcatty ex for 2 prizes to tie it up, but they KO it with infernape their next turn. (had Walrein in hand ready to go, but have to get 2 prizes)

Round 4: Play against a Aggron Deck. This is bad, one of the few cards that can really hurt with weakness. Start with a lone spheal. Have trouble setting up because they keep KOing my stuff too fast. I stay in the game for a while, but they win.

Round 5: Play against a blissy deck with delcatty to draw. I was doing very well this game, except until the end when they kept doing 40 then would play a boost and a plus power to do 90 for the KO 2 turns. Game went to time and then they did 90 to KO my walrein to win at time.

So many times I needed to do just 10 more damage. I was thinking Strenth Charm would work, but I don't know how to fit it in.

About the earlier suggestions, should i really go any less with the chingling, because I really need to not start with speal. I will test it with only 3 and see how it works Taking out a sealeo is a possiblity, but only 1 it is ok to snipe the bench and I like evolving it normally if I can so that I can than scoop it up later and rare candy it after I scoop it up.

OK, I have been working on the deck and here are some changes:

Pokemon: 20

4 Spheal MT
3 Sealeo MT
4 Walrein MT
2 Aipom MT
2 Ambipom MT
4 Chingling MT
1 Chimecho MT

Trainers/Supporters: 26

3 TV Reporter
3 Rare Candy
3 Team Galactic's Wager
3 Celio's Network
3 Castaway
1 Scott
2 Holon Mentor
4 Super Scoop Up
2 Strength Charm
2 Night Maintenance

Energy: 14

10 Water Energy
2 Double Rainbow Energy
2 Scramble Energy

The only real changes were the addition of 2 strength charm. The aditional 10 damage many times was very critical.
Added Night Maintenace, and took out Mime and 1 chimecho

Again any help would be appreciated.

So now it is WAMO= (W)alrein, (AM)bipom, Chimech(O)

Take out 1 Chimecho (it isn't too bad if your only Chimecho is in your prizes (it rarely is!) and if you have 2 Chimecho's, you will more often start with Chimecho (with nothing!)) and 1 Mr. Mime (you don't need it) and add 2 Night Maintenance's. Very good deck, I think :). Empoleon Lv. X could also be a nice add in this deck but I don't think there's any place for it...

I was thinking about maybe adding a 1-0-1 Infernape tech, for the metal matchup. What do you think? I am not sure if it is worth it or not, or what i should take out. Thanks.

i have a wamo too, this is my version (withou rare candy of course)

4-4-4 walrein MT
3-3 ambipon
3 mawile pk.
---------------------
total = 21 pkmn.

4 celio's network
4 team galactic wager
4 bill
2 copycat
2 master ball
2 scott
2 battle frontier
2 mr stone project
-------------------------
total = 22 trainers

12 water energy
3 double rainbow energy
2 holon energy w/p

This deck in theory is good but in the practice is too slow start the formation for disruption, because spheal and sealeo are slow pkmn. if you start with ambipon and combine with mawile and team galactic the disruption of the opponent hand is succeful.

the other weak point is the 80 hp of ambipon, he is knock out in 2 o 3 turn.

Well i got second in a Battle road on the 7th, with the updated list. It worked really well. During swiss rounds, my only loss was to the player that went undefeated. I just made it into the top 4 cut and played against the player i had already lost to.

He had a bad start and i had a near perfect one. He KO'd my Chimecho/Chingling (after a used it to draw) and so I then sent out a Sealeo. I evolved to walrein and didn't get both heads. he just had a vibrava active and a trapinch on the bench. I super scooped it and sent up a Spheal and used rare candy to get walrein. I flipped both heads to discard his vibrava. I attach a scramble to OHKO his Trappinch for game.

Last round of the Finals i go against Blisscatty. I didn't have a very good start, and struggled to get set up. I would have done better in this game, (i played walrein several times, and used super scoop up), but this game i couldn't flip a single heads out of the maybe 8 or 9 coins i flipped that game. I lost, but i was just unlucky with the flips and the draws.

Anyway. The deck can win games, and made it to the finals and got 2nd. It just still needs some slight tweaking.

IMO it is not dangerous to play ambipom with all the deck delcatty ex which pullulates??? I think that the adversary was not generated to throw 2 energies

Congrats!!! I am playing around with this deck also.

Would a Walrein EX help? Also 14 energies seems low.

14 energies has seemed to be enough for me. With castaway, and a good setup with Ching/mecho energies haven't really been a problem for me.
Walrein ex is a good idea. If there is room for one, it would work well.

The deck needs something to counter Meganium d with it's delta reduction. Any suggestions?

Take out a sealio and a walrein for 2 walrein ex. The thing I would do with Meganium d would be to fight fire with fire (literally or figuratively.) Try to work in a 2-2 Pelipper d (OP5) line to put the same effect on your opponent that their Meganium puts on you. Another idea is to use Mew d (OP5) or CG Numel to exploit Meg's weakness, but these two have kinda low hp and would only survive 1 or 2 hits before they went down.
