I live in KY and a lot of people there are playing Empoleon/lucario. I have mede this awsome secret deck for citis but it is fire. Any techs or any cards I can put in to help out.

Holon FF for one. Another would be a bench protector, to keep the brine, aqua jets etc off the bench.

Do the people in Kentucky even check the PokeGym? If not, why not just post the deck and then I'd be able to help you better. Is the Fire poke weak to water?

If the deck you made plays Pokemon Powers, you'll need some windstorm. Could you just give a bit more information?

The best route to counter a specific deck is Resistance. Reducing their damage by 30 or so is amazing! Try Meganium delta species from Dragon Frontiers. It reduces the opponents sniping powers, gives you speed by searching for pokes, and is resistant to water!

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Just thought of another amazing combo, play Flygon d with Meganium for energy acceleration and resistances to bother types!! YES!! BTW, this is in the wrong forum, should be in Single Cards/Strategy...

Sorry for changing your deck from being fire to Fighting/Grass/Steel :p

KY people do frequent the gym with DragonairMaster08 being one of the top players. There are others.

I can think of at least 6 Ky players off the top of my head who are on the Gym-- AtrusofKrondor, Jayson, Mr. Bojangles, Dragonairmaster8, myself & my son, Taylor2007, and a few others. ... And don't forget the TeamPawny crowd either

Though I will have to say I ran 4 Battle Roads, and didn't see a Lucario/Empolean at any of them. Winners in KY during the Battle Road season included Blissey variants, a Mario, a speed Empolean, and a T2 K-tune.

The Holon FF is a good way to go, and I will have to say that there were a couple of different Meganium decks that gave some people fits, that with some tuning could be true beasts to run into.....

What is The Holon FF?

What is The Holon FF?

Holon Energy Fire/Fighting (FF)
It was released in Delta Species, and Dragon Frontiers. It provides Colorless energy, but if you have both it and a basic Fire energy attached to a Pokemon at the same time, that Pokemon has no Weakness.

I play 3 in my Magmortar deck, and it has worked every time I play a Water deck.

This really does not have anything to do with a Battle Road.....
