There is a new update to be downloaded. Also your going to have to update the internet channel and everybody votes channel by going on the wii shop channel.

Let's see...I haven't updated the Wii except once (like 2 updates ago). So I'm probably not going to bother. I mean, what's the point of the updates anyways?

They fix progamming errors and also update security so its harder for people to hack into it from outside the house.

Plus with this update your now able to use USB Keyboards with the Wii. No more point and click to type in addresses.

Why would someone hack into a Wii? That's odd...

But using a keyboard sounds good.

its cool now to send links to other people youve registerred in your wii system.

Wow, I can do that on my computer; so doing this on a Wii is fun? I wish the new update made better games for the darn thing:lol: .Lame, Brawl gets pushed back AGAIN, ahhhwell, at least we have Sonic, and online play. Right? Crosses fingers.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Wow. Any videos of what a hacked WII looks like? If so, how was it done? I mean, there is no file share system on the Wii so how can it (could) have been hacked?

Another problem with hacking is piracy. Virtual console games have licenses attached to them and a hacked Wii could get around that and then freebie games could be floating around on the internet. Nintendo really needed USB Keyboard support in my opinion because it makes the more application like channels alot easier to use. The use of a Keyboard now opens new possiblities for games that were originally conceived for the PC for the most part as well. I just wish Pokemon Battle Revolution could make use of the keyboard.

It would have been nice to be able to chat with the person you battle on PBR. Perhaps in time we will get something allowing us to do so. Friend codes are great for monitoring who you interact with. But it also limits you at the sametime. My stepson wants to battle with random people on the DS much like you can on PBR. But the DS is Friend code limited, so unless he has a friend code and they are on. He can't Battle anyone.

He knows, and he battles in the Tower quite a bit. I think it's the fact he's battling a Computer opponent and not a live person.

Nope, you DOWNLOAD teams other people upload onto Wi-Fi, but it's the CPU using them, not someone else.
