There is no syneregy here. The cool thing is that Gyrados covers Magnezones red weakness.
Any fixes? I live in Nashville, and a cool guy from Memphis won with this deck at our Battle roads. So I thought I'd see what pokegym thinks.

Why warp point?, Magnezone's body = free cost for your pokes. You need Celios too..

Mmm try Magnezone with 4-4 Ledian d to grab the metals you need, attach them to Magnewall and then play 4 buffer 4 potion

Get rid of potions. The rule of a proper deeck is not to mention Potions.

Needs 4 Windstorm and a couple Wager or Prof. Oak's Research for anti-decking. I'd really like to see what happens when Gyarados isn't in the deck.

magnezone + metal = slow death. if somehting can kill magnzeone but not gyara, retreat and let gyara take the hit, then use magikarp's flail to KO them back. rinse and repeat

It won 2 battleroads. A large part of the power of the deck was the player behind it. Carlos is really that good.

One problem that people have on this site though is that you will judge a deck before you ever actually build it and play against it.

If it was built by Jimmy B., you would all be going, "but of course this is good..it is a GOD deck". Imagination in not the strong suit of many players.

No insult to Jimmy of course, he is a friend.

Well put Clay. Yeah i bet this deck is a stall strategy because a player should be smart enough not to foolishly attack a gyarados and receive the extra 30 damage back from flail. While your doing that, you can start building up magnezone and when gyarados is knocked out, Magnezone takes its place and will sweep the entire field with 80 or more damage.

yea,he's right.
i was one of the one's who bagged on it at first glance,but i really like the idea know that i think of it.
both pokemon are tanks,and gyrados bieng able to flail for 1 basic metal and getting free retreat is preety nice.
