Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Item: Is it broken?

Does anyone have a good Combo for the Unown I's power Item? I saw card of the day was unown E and thought it was good enough to bring up today.

Wasting almost your whole bench while a Lucario or Empoleon with a Cessation Crystal attatched runs through your active while also shutting down the whole point of the Unowns just seems like an incredibly bad idea to me.

If your opponent doesn\'t have 4 pokemon out? If you don\'t start with Luvdisc?

Please explain, good sir, because at the moment it simply isn\'t worth a great ball.

why would your opponent not have 4 pokemon out?
why wouldnt you start with luvdisc?
im thinking this combo might be a bit above your head...

ITEM isn't broken. It just gets broken by stuff like Emploeon, Lucario, Flygon ex d, and Cessation Crystal. All popular cards...

One Unknown gets KO and all you have left is a usless TIM OR TEM etc...

No, it's not even close to broken.
BUT
4 ER2 along w/ the new Lugia and Claydol ex could potentially discard 2 energy a turn, although it's not really worth it.

what playable cards even snipe this format? ray ex is 2 free prizes for blissey, empoleon would have to waste attacks on unowns while it's getting hit, octillery is a joke, etc. you can always choose to attach unown e to your pokemon for +10 hp if you need another bench spot, then replay another unown e when a bench spot frees up. if a card is forced to attack your unowns rather than your main attacker, either they're bad at this game or you've already lost. it's not as bad as you kids with your endless amount of testing with them may think.

dont use unknown and broken in the same sentance

this is not a sentance, it doesnt start with a capital or end with a period

It's bad, and any good Empoleon deck will cc you so you have a bench of pkmn that are doing NOTHING. And once they KO your active pkmn you have a bench of easy prizes to send out.

ITEM is not broken, the only time Unown will ever be broken is when Empoleon rips it to shreads, then it will be "broken".
