Each of the next 4, er, 8 weeks we'll be asking questions about the Rulings Compendium. This fortnight it is:

Which Compendium EX formats do you use? What comments do you have on the formats?

Comments: A format that has pull down screens for attacks/powers by name would be a huge help. Also, have the Compendium be a searchable database.

Any more thoughts out there?

would bulbasnore start working on Compendium DP as it only list cards from DP on since we will be very close to a DP on format?

A searchable database is kinda a must eventually... Also, I would like the pdf files to get a formatting shake-up. It looks messy at the moment. I know that is a big job, but I'd be willing to do it if enough people agrees with me (the formatting. I can't program to save my life)

I guess that will replace the Compendium ex. COOL!

The compendium doesn't need any search feature. As said before, Control + F works fine (or Apple + F)

Not only should the Compendium be searchable, but there should be an API available that lets one build a URL that will pull up ruings on specific cards.

I would love to put a link on each card to the Compendium for rulings on each card. In my mind, that would be SO helpful.

I second the idea of a searchable database, but whether by keyword or via a pull-down menu (or both!) would be up to the folks at Team Compendium.

Ditto on that too. Pull down menu would so help.

The Gorn, is it possible to put the rulings inside your spreadsheet as a seperate column, so they would come up whenever someone searches for a card? I know it would take a long time to input in the data, but I presume you could do all of the fancy programming really easily
