speedos (gyarados/gardy)

i really like gardy pk, and decided that i would make a deck with him:

strategy: start with magicarp, use psy shoadow on a turn 2 gyarados to rack up a turn 2 50! it should be easier than i'm finding it, but the opponent giving me a turn 1 10, maening i can turn 2 40 is okay as well :wink:
any fix's, thoughts?

I love Gardevior (saw my Gardevoir ex deck win lots of tournys last year) : ), but I hate Magicarp. Maby there will be a better combo for Gardevoir in the next few sets.

Really? The strategy is good... but the starter is kinda... lame :/ you want to be T1/2 donked?

Add a line of Xatu SW! Use Gardevoir to power up and damage Gyarados, and when you want 80 (Or your Body is canceled) use Enrage, if you flip tails in the first coin, auto confuses the enemy. if not, you discard cards from their hand. Also Xatu is stage 1 Psy, no energy and consistency problems! :biggrin:

yeah i do use that attack alot, thats what the dre are for, i'll play it when it comes out

Also how do you plan on getting a stage 2 and stage 1 set up by turn 2? Your strategy is unrealistic. This deck needs a setup Pokemon; 3-1 Chingling/Chimecho, or Holon's Castform with the delta forms of Ralts and Magikarp.

this is not speedos... real one only includes luvdisc, gyarados, and mawhile. it means its fast (speed) and made up only of gyarados (os)....

getting a candy, ralts and gardy to play turn 2 is childs play! maybe not with this build, but it's easily done.

in the 2005 nationals i played gardy/catty/pidgeot and got turn 1 gady like 4/5 games. i came 5th, it was my first nationals. if a n00b can do it, i severly hope someone here can as well.

btw; screw your upper case letters, holding down shift is too much effort for me
