Win Zip (THIS THREAD CAN BE PUT ON THREAD LOCKDOWN! OH GOD!)

Does any one know a relible site where i can download win zip for free?
And tell me how big win zip is and how long it takes to download.

Why would you need Winzip? Windows can zip and unzip files now on its own.

EDIT: For some reason I was thinking Winzip was a free program. It's not. You can get a trial version from the main website, asking for anything more is piracy and against the rules of this board. OR you could use windows for your zipping and unzipping needs.

If you feel compelled to download a program for your zipping needs, Cygwin has a nice command line zip program. :3

Ah I see.

I got a laptop last month (Dell with Windows Vista) and am trying to get Appr. I got Appr and can Unzip it.

Protip, Winzip (or at least all the versions I've ever used) are more nagware than non-free software. You can use the trial version indefinitely, though they make you not want to by making it inefficient.

That's right. No wonder I thought it was free. >_>; WinRAR is the same way.
