My firend's cell phone ringtone is the lucky star opening theme.

I swear the voice actors sound like they drank 3 redbulls, 2 monsters, 3 amphs, had 10 pixie sticks, ate some sugar, and injected caffine via shot, and then sing the opening theme
 
I watched five minutes of a Lucky Star episode once. You all will be glad to know that I had a speedy recovery after that horrible, tragic incident. =(

That's pretty accurate for describing the song ... and of course, in before "flame wars over the series" since it has been happening a lot around the internet :rolleyes:
 
I've heard it gets better as it goes on, but after the first episode's 5 minutes of just talking about food... I can't bring myself to watch it.

Azumanga Daioh > All other slice-of-life anime.
 
Lucky Star is a pretty love it or hate it series since not everyone will find its brand of humor amusing. It really does get better as it goes on though.
 
Well I watched an episode today (specifically one with gratuitous haruhi references). It's okay, I'll wait for the box set. It's just a little too crazy for my tastes, kinda like azumanga daioh with a lot more caffiene and haruhi references.
 
I've seen that video on Youtube it involves some sort of level editor.

I got the DVD of Haruhi vol. 4 now & watched the trailer for Lucky Star.

My only gripe is they should have had the SOS Brigade Invasion Tour Concert as a Bonus Feature.

Oh, well maybe when season 2 comes out on DVD. (Which there will be another season BTW).

BTW speaking of Super Mario, anybody seen Super Mario Z? (Youtube).
 
I saw 4 episodes of Lucky Star at Komuircon this year and loved it. I thought it was hilarious. (Of course I thought Azu Manga Daioh was awsome also) SO I will be eagerly awaiting the release of this series.
