Dark Water - Weavile + Blissey

I'm working on a new deck that uses the new Weavile from DP3 and the Blissey from DP2. The problem is that in terms of pokemon I only have been able to find those 2 lines and unless I run my trainers around recovery, draw, and switch I dont have any other Pokemon lines to work with so does anyone have any ideas what can work well to back up the Weavile + Blissey combo?

I wasn't aware that you needed something to back up Weavile and Blissey.

Seriously, what in the world do you need to support a 130 HP Stage 1, whom deals loads of damage that grows every single turn? An energy accelerator: AKA Weavile.

Your trainers SHOULD be based around getting those two out ASAP. What in the world could you possibly need beyond those? Hand destruction? Just put in some Team Galatic's Wager. Field Disruption? Fit in Energy Removal 2.

No need to put in other pokemon lines. :/

I'd try slotting in a regular DP Weavile if anything; retreat a weakened Blissey loaded with Darkness Energy for a turn or two, and let DP Weavile take out something before resending the Blissey.

Those two suffice. With the release of the next american set run a tech Darkrai line and Moonlight Stadium. Hands Blissey free retreat and even more firepower than before. The deck is called Rotten Eggs over here.

Off the top of my head:

4 Absol SW
3 Sneasel
3 Weavile SW
3 Chansey
3 Blissey
=16

4 Special Dark
4 Basic Dark
3 Fire
3 Holon FF
4 Boost
=18

3 Castaway
2 Buffer
2 Strength Charm
2 Pluspower
2 Team Galactic's Mars
2 TV Reporter
4 Celio
3 Quick Ball
2 Great Ball
1 Roseanne's Research
2 Warp Point
1 Night Maintenance
=26

There are probably better ways to run Bliss though.

I would still go 4-4 Blissey with probably a 2-2 Weavile SW. You don't want to start with the lame Sneasel. And even though Absol could make a decent starter for disruption decks, I'd rather start with Chancey and get the T2 Blissey.

The energy might be hard to do. You definitely want 4 Special Dark energy. And maybe even ways to bring back the special energy from the discard (what can bring it back?). Maybe even some basic dark because Weavile can search for it. But I don't see fire and FF working. 4 Boost is staple, and 4 Special Dark is staple too. So that's half if not close to half (if you run more energy -- which I wouldn't see why, nothing needs more than 2 energy to attack) I guess you could go 4-4 on the fire and ff, but how likely are you to get that combo going at the same time as the weavile and special dark?

I haven't gotten the cards to test it yet, but I plan on testing it.

Actually, Ninetales d or Heracross d return Special energy to your poke or your hand. Check my sig, there's some ideas... (beware, its a old thread... i should erase it )

You are right... seems like energy is a problem... but, if you are quick enough, you wont need it anyway. Remember that this Blissey variant its more powerful that other for the energy cost/damage output (The S. Dark Energy and the power of Weavile bring the damage to 60 with 2). Imagine when Darkrai Lv X come...

^ Well if the deck starts playing more Warp Point or switch to make up for it (since Darkrai is a Lv.X, it must be active to Level up) it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Could imagine a blissey with 7 energy attached doing 160?! I just started buying the cards to make this deck
